Looking back, it should have been obvious that Miami’s run defense was going to get abused by WVU’s famous Power Spread backfield of Rasheed Marshall, Avon Cobourne, and Quincy Wilson. Luckily Miami had enough offensive fire power to overcome it.
Even though we won this game and Dorsey had a career day, it felt like a loss for the way they ran the ball at us. Over 300 yards rushing for WVU. Too many missed tackles and not enough defensive adjustments by Miami.

Ken like most Cane QB were elevated by the talent that surrounded them. In Championship years it was always the running game and defense.
