Totally makes sense screwing it in and instead of holding it and each leg behind different lengths.. love this video thank you for taking time out to teach us I appreciate you!!
Whoa!!!! I didn’t even know they even had such a thing ??!! So this is basically a soldering gun AND solder sucker in one!!???!!?where could I order one sir?
Why don’t you like the big caps? Because of room? I just totally went thru a sb220 ham amplifier and the caps Harbach sent me are way smaller then origins but they fit in the cap bank plastic holder
This was very helpful. I'm trying to remove a shorted bridge rectifier from a PSU. Can you please tell me brand and model of soldering iron you're using? The tip of that one looks like it works better than the ones I have (I'm just a novice at repair work). Thanks
Thanks for showing the bridge removal and resoldering process in detail, Chris
My pleasure

Correct.
It is a Hakko FR-301.
They can be purchased (at least) on Amazon.

Brilliant, very clear thanks - what sort of cost is a new BR?
About $3.50 or so. :-)

I'm using JBC units and tips. One of them is an AD2600. They can be found on eBay periodically otherwise they are a bit pricey.
@@ChrisHiblerPinball hey Chris, thank you so much!
What are the specifications for the bridge?
