I feel so bad watching. I know it’s hard to play on the spot but so many of his questions weren’t helping them. It kinda seemed like he was just saying the first thing that popped into his mind.
The only thing we ever even slightly staged is the approach, we always ask everyone if they want to take part before we film. After that it’s all genuine. As @iambeastlee said above, even getting nos narrows it down and you can see her in pretty deep thought right before she asks if it’s pirates.

Is taking place on earth. Yes. 6. Is it taking place before modern society. Yes. 7. Is it taking place before medieval society. No. 8. Is it taking place after medieval society. Yes. 9. Is the color grade in black and white? No. 10. Does it involve Asian culture? Yes. (I like samurai/ninja movies even if they're a bit cheesy. The Last Samurai is a good re-watch for me, sue me over it lol.) 11. Is it primarily based in Asian culture? No. 12. Does it have cowboys and/or native Americans? No. 13. Does it have pirates. Yes. 14. Is it a Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Yes. (It's the only major-brand movie I can think of that involves both pirates and Asian culture and isn't animated) 15. Is it within the first three of the five main and 1 spinoff movies? Yes. 16. Is it the first movie? No. 17. Is it the second movie? No. 18. Is it the third movie? Yes. Boom. Eighteen questions total. But, mind you, I don't have that guy handicapping me by eating my questions to ask about things that have ALREADY BEEN COVERED. So... maybe that's cheating. But there you have it.
They did ask quite a few duplicate questions. I wouldn't have counted those questions against them. However if they make a guess that shouldn't have been made if they used all the info they had, then that still counts.
My only criticism would be that I feel like guesses shouldn't count as questions the last one should though because they knew the movie & were guessing the number so that makes sense
Technically with what they asked they left it so open. Elizabeth swan was in 4 of the 5 but they missed that. So they couldve locked themselves out had it not been the original trilogy
