Respect for RS as less power and torque gives tough competition to polo gt 1.0 tsi although power to weight ratios of both cars are almost similar side but RS is underrated car the paid automobile journalist and so called automotive channels never show true potential of this car or not even about today's maruti fronx turbo, as a vw polo owner i must say even if maruti is not good in safety and all aspects but in making engines they are fantastic,as a car enthusiast no hate🙏 for cars and car brands !

Love your drag races! Kudos you and other owners for your effort! however Baleno RS is a fantastic car, powerful 3 cylinder turbo engine, very agile, lightweight and bonkers fun to drive. Honestly, I still search for a RS badge in any Baleno from that gen on the road, and admire. Truly, gem of a car, it lives up or even exceeds the expeection out of that badge and tagline 'Made of speed'. In this race, both cars are evenly matched in terms of price, and performance. Baleno RS has power to weight ratio of 107.36 hp/ton and torque to weight ratio of 157. 89 NM/ton. On the other side, Polo has power to weight ratio of 102.61 hp/ton and torque to weight ratio of 163.24 NM/ton. Considering power to weight Balano RS is expected to walk past Polo after certain speeds. It's great to see how these 2 cars are so evenly matched in real life. But, Polo was very low on fuel, these cars limits fuel and performance under such circumstances. Moreover, both cars should have equivalent condition which includes service or any powertrain related issues. I would request you guys to arrange another drag at their best. Love both cars! Whoever wins, Respect to both!

Bro dont have to waste time till 7k rpm then shifting next gear .. it shows how you are not interested in this drag race … like baleno guy you should try that .. once it reach 5+ rpm you have to change next gear… coz mostly these cars will produce peak power around 4 to 5k rpm after that power will fall down and rolling you should try from 1st gear 20 .. i prefer always vw lovers drive their car not the hater’s ..

Baleno can only compete at this moment. No need to overrate the Baleno’s performance. Polo is maintaining its performance since decades. Just because Baleno gave good competition you can’t just downplay polo’s ability.
@@Samshujayanagar stupid both brands have different motives...suzuki makes reliable cars for long term normal use...vw makes performance oriented which are unreliable..everyone knows this....suzuki baleno will give 20+ mileadge in this power figure but polo will give 15 mileadge...if suzuki will tune for increase bhp & torque then the mileadge will drop and car will win....so first go and get some knowledge...then give stupid opinion....weight difference is not too much but take a look at power figure difference...japaneese brands are always better than german for mostly people.

Don't forget that polo weighs 1285kg and baleno is 950 kg there is a huge difference in the weight and Baleno RS is equal to Polo 's GT engine but here it is a 1.0 litre TSI

Baleno rs has a weight advantage which you forgot to mention..
So it has less power & torque compared to Polo
Due to low fuel in the polo, the ecu has cut down full potential power that's why the Baleno RS ran so close, but both cars perform really well. If there's proper fuel in both cars with good shifting, Polo will win drag as well as long races. WITH SAFETY 😂.

Kya mazak bna ke rakha h fair race karo bhai agar rs mein stock exhaust h to polo mein bhi stock exhaust hone chahiye. After market exhaust dalne se polo ki performance down ho gayi h. Stock exhaust wali polo se karo phir rs ki aukat pata chalegi... polo drag aur top end dono mein hi achhe gap se jitegi.... vw ke samne suzuki ki koi aukat nhi h..... polo ki build quality safety steering feel and feedback driving dynamics stability baleno rs se far better h. Rs mein bas ek space thodi jyada hogi baki aur chizo mein polo far better h.....

@@Fission-HY3 never said it wasnt a good car, i’ve even owned one and realistically 150+ kgs makes way more difference than 10hp/25nm , the baleno has much better ptwr and just because the polo is german doesnt mean its been engineered to porsche levels to make much difference on that regard
