I remember when he used to go by Breezy Lovejoy coming up in the scene with DJ Zo, Wax, and Dumbfoundead. I got to see him live on his first tour and he was even more of a powerhouse in person. He even walking around in the audience singing and dancing with everyone.
As a young Elder (51) and an artist myself i would love to work with him. He is a young cat who i admire musically. He is a super talent and a force to be reckoned with and respected. He is def one of my favorites of this generation.
The Album Compton by Dre is considered to be his most mediocre album but the thing that carried the album was how Anderson Paak carried every song he was on making it memorable and iconic which he is prolly why that Compton album is one of my favorite albums
Let's be honest, his xxl cypher performance was not good. And absolute let down, a horrible first impression. But this work after that, absolutely phenomenal. He already made a brief Super bowl halftime appearance, I hope they showcase him very soon in the future.
His XXL cypher threw him off from the younger audience but redeemed an older audience thanks to his NPR Tiny Desk Concert performance.
