      @jimmycline4778 Год назад +1

      Can you do this to much?

    • @Headfulness
      @Headfulness  Год назад +2

      @@jimmycline4778 If you start to feel lightheaded, take a break. Other than that, you can't really do "too much" slow, deep breathing.
      As far as keeping your mouth dry, slow breathing exercises help stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for producing saliva. You could try exhaling through your mouth, which may help dry out your mouth a little bit. Exhale through your mouth like you're gently blowing out a candle or cooling off some soup.

    I have been having pretty severe heart flutters over the past few days and was worried it was the onset of a heart issue. I've tried sitting and laying in several types of positions and different breathing patterns and nothing helped until I found this. I haven't had a heart flutter since I've started and am so relieved I keep laughing during the breathing exercise.

    I was having racing heart palpitations before doing this, 98 beats per minute. As I was doing this the anxiety started to get more and more intense. I felt like I was hyperventilating even though I was breathing exactly with the breath pacer. It kept getting more and more intense and panic, then right at about the 19 minute mark I started to cry, tears as cold as ice cubes ran down my cheeks, and then the anxiety and palpitations went way down. I’m now at about 75 bpm. Maybe this exercise released a deep hurt or grief inside .

    A million time yes and thank you for your work.
    This is what meditation is all about, controlling your breathing and create a habit that can defeat anxiety.
    It is simple but the more you practice the better it works.
    Best regards.

    Thank God for this exercise. I work in telemetry so I’ve studied different heart rhythms. I’ve seen a lot of people with PVCS. So recently I started having PVCS out of the blue. It’s scary. I’ve been to the doctor, had a 12 lead ekg done. They caught one. Gonna be wearing a zio patch to see what’s going on, but seriously feel so much more calm after breathing with this video.

    Great. In our ancient Hindu scriptures has numerous methods of prayanamam or breathing exercise. The above method we call nadi suthi( சுத்தி) . Cleansing
    I really appreciate that for all new beginners and those want to improve their lifestyle and stay healthy. This is excellent way that you can start by listening to music, inhale and exhale while closing your eyes. Beautiful experience. Thanks for such a wonderful way to bring awareness to the people on the breathing techniques to improve our wellbeing.

      RN and holistic coach here too. Doesn’t matter when it’s your heart having palpitations. This is related to my hormones. Having a lot of palps tonight, was getting anxious and upset it was happening again. By the grace of God, I found this 😭😭. Words can’t thank you enough. I just received my Dutch plus test so I’m looking forward to getting answers on what’s going on with my hormones. I’m the meantime, this will be my go-to to relieve palpitations. Do 4 breaths in an outs then miss one an repeat this process if you hold your breath for one in an out it gives your heart rate a chance to register that your lowering it a good way to hear your own heart rate is plug your nose hope this helps some I've found it helps me tremendously❤❤❤

    I have had out of control palpitations for 1 year. Had every test. Wearing my second heart monitor from cardiologist now. I have such anxiety over this as i have family history of young heart attacks. Cant sleep, worry all day, tried different diets, removed, or reduced medication. I have a thyroid nodule and take thyroid medication. Cardiologist put me on Motroptol low dose but doesnt work. My BP is too low on it. I have been doing some breathing excercises at night. I just did this for 3 min. And my palpitations reduced to about 1 every 11 beats. I will try the full 20 min. If this works I will just break into tears with shear gratitude, my cardiologist justvreferred me to an EP Cardiologist.

    What do you recommend to follow during a blood pressure reading, not before but actually while the cuff is on. I find it easy to get relaxed with a lot of different breathing techniques you have but unfortunately once the blood pressure cuff starts to get tight it very hard to inhale and that produces a higher reading.
