- A special preview of the Museum of London's Cheapside Hoard exhibition. This extraordinary and priceless cache of late 16th and early 17th century jewels and gemstones -- displayed in its entirety for the first time in over a century -- was discovered in 1912, buried in a cellar on Cheapside in the City of London.
The exhibition will run from 11th October 2013 to 27th April 2014.

"It is a labour of love." Well said indeed. And it has always been a labour of love since it was acquired for the museum in 1912. So look forward to seeing it in person one day.
There are maybe 100's of thousands of jewelers in the world that would love to handle and inspect these items; more of a huge privilige.
Fascinating!!!
the Cheapside Hoard is exquisite
Credit and thanks to the honest work en who discovered this hoard and sold it to an honest person so that a museum could acquire it. We all get the benefit of looking at it now.
Please increase the output volume in future videos, I can’t hear these soft-spoken ladies on my iPad, thank you.
