North Dakota honestly looked really solid for an FCS program. If only they could’ve converted some of those longer drives into points. Redzone play calling needs some work, but they were not afraid of the step up in competition. ISU did good though and wrapped up a solid game.
@@robertpeters41 If Iowa plays anywhere near as well offensively as they did in their second half, ISU will have a tough time doing a ton. When Iowa's offense plays competently or above and gets a lead, they'll turn ISU over 3 or 4 times as they have to push and take risks for points. I'm predicting 31-13 Iowa
@@LouisvilleHawkthey won’t. Illinois state finished 8th in their conference last year and returned 0 production lol. Iowa State’s offense is 100x better than what Iowa saw. Also, Cade had two touchdown balls he just threw up and were honestly 50/50 balls. ISU’a secondary is their most experienced position on defense. You won’t see any deep balls 40+ caught by any Iowa WR next week.
@@Iconic_117he only had 1 touchdown that was a 50/50 ball. The other 2 were perfectly wide open. Vander Zee 1st and Gill’s 31 yarder were both wide open.
@@peytonparker7427 yeah there won’t be anyone wide open on Saturday. Cade is going to have to make good throws. He’s lucky Iowa state is hurt and won’t be playing 2 experienced linebackers and a DL. I am an ISU fan but Iowa should easily win this one with those injuries listed above and Ben Bramer (starting TE) banged up and Sama with an ankle injury. It’s going to be what is was last year. A bunch of freshman and sophomores vs Iowa’s experience and upperclassman. Iowa should win 24-7 or 24-10
@@freddyjfreaker sounds like a hater. When was the last time ISU won 10 games?? 🤣 how about 9? Has isu ever gone 12-0??? When was the last time they were ranked?? Look at the all time history between the two teams. Iowa has dominated. Keep hating bruh 🤡 I actually like ISU too. They my big 12 school, but know your place. You’ll always be little bro. 🤣
What was your favorite highlight from this game?
I wish every commentator was like this guy just gets me hyped even more !

Agreed, I feel a Iowa Aura from this team 😂
I mean the Dakota and Montana schools are among the best of the FCS. As an isu alum, I was not about to underestimate North Dakota.
Can’t believe they didn’t show ND’s punt. That thing was wild
ISU offense looks fine, but defense is not impressive - D-line getting pushed, players missed tackles, that will not fly against the next opponents.
#98 fighting Hawks... lets go nephew!!!
Those first two plays were crazy! Wow!
Where's that glorious punt at man???
THATS WHAT IM SAYING-
North Dakota has quite a good program. Good job Cyclones
They really do definitely can't sleep on em far as good competition
Commentator was waiting for this day all year 😂
The injuries to the Iowa state linebackers really showed we could not stop the run
Those first two plays had me thinking unholy thoughts
the commentator 🤣🤣🤣
Eric Collins is my goat
he's the only reason i looked this game up
Cyclones on top
Madilyn Glens
Kinda sad that they held Iowa state to 21 points the almost could have one if they didn’t turn the ball over that much
Ritchie Points
Luz Crossroad
No reason they didn’t score at least 45, bad all around
Spencer Gateway
ISU D didn't look that great! Next week against the Hawkeyes should be interesting. 💛🖤
We might see 1000 yards of total offense in that game.

Fighting Sioux! Not Hawks. Just disgraceful
Iowa is about to destroy these bums😂😂😂
Lmao frfr. A few people be saying ISU gonna beat Iowa. Like what? 🤣 Iowa defense is gonna walk all over them.
ND is a better school than Illinois State. The Hawkeyes will forever be a joke.
