- My Magic Twist Stitch is good stich for shawls, scarves, blankets and looks great in the round too for cowls and hats. It knits up quickly and is easy for beginners. Here are links to the cast on a bind off I would use with this.
CAST ON • Crochet Chain cast on ...
BIND OFF • Very Stretchy Bind Off...

I love this stich so easy
Love this stitch. Thank you!!!!
I always love your videos!❤
I want to make a shawl with this , it's a very attractive stitch and easy
Wow, another nice easy stitch. I'm going to make a swatch first and maybe a baby blanket in white. Thank you for sharing all your stitches . I love everyone of them.
❤❤
Such a pretty stitch. Great job Deborah
That is a nice easy stitch. Thank you for the video. I like all your stitch videos, lots for me to try.
I’m using your Magic Twist stitch in a hat. Since I’m doing it in the round, I’m getting an interesting spiral in the direction I’m going (clockwise). It looks quite nice and also really, really great on the inside; so, it’s going to be a reversible hat and I think I may actually like it best inside out! Also, I have been wondering for a while with some stitches whether I could change the direction I’m knitting on alternate rows somehow? I’m not quite sure what would be the best way to do that. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thank you! ☺
Changing direction in the round is challenging. When I have done it I did a slouchy hat because i could hide the big jog from doing it in the back.
Thank you love all your videos
I enjoy watching your stitch video and hearing feathered friend
Awesome stitch😊
I would love to make tat blanket xxx
Thanks, I’m a newbie and I love your videos - I need clarification though because to my inexperienced eyes, it looks like you’re doing a U-wrap stitch followed by two E-wrap stitches on same peg rather than three U-wraps as you say. Anyway, I’m really enjoying loom knitting so far - have only made a few hats so far. I really wish I had started years ago but I guess better late than never.
slow down the video if you cant see what i am doing...its not what you are saying.
@@DeborahShaw Okay, thanks - yes, it’s often a good idea to slow it down to see more clearly. My problem was in my understanding of what constitutes an E-wrap. I went and looked at your playlist for something with E-wraps and found one that was very interesting ‘Owl Stitch Loom Knit No purls easy for beginners, blankets, shawls scarves and cowls..’ ruclips.net/video/YA3d2Z098Qw/видео.html
So basically it seems the difference there between U-wrap and E-wrap is whether the wrapping is going clockwise or counterclockwise? I knew some prefer to work clockwise and some counterclockwise on a round loom - I thought the important difference between the two wrap stitches was just whether the working yarn was wrapped all the way around the peg or not. I didn’t realize the direction of wrapping was the main thing. Oh well, I’m still very new at this and trying hard to get the hang of it all. I love the tremendous variety of stitches you have available on your playlist, wow!
@@berneemartin8859 its more important to see how the stitches are made. in needle knitting ewrap is knitting through the bac loop. in my wrapping techniques for this stitch i am saying its uwrap to help people understand what direction the knit is on the peg. As long as you see how to do it dont worry about anything else in a stitch that has a lot of wrapping technique
So amazing
I just tried this, it came out like a lace, could this be because i am using the wrong tipe of wool
you didnt use the right gauge for your loom, Either use thicker yarn or a smaller gauge loom.
Good day what do you call your stitch where you wrap the wool twice around a pin and then throw the bottom 2 over. the pin layout was 2 pins and then 3 normal where owleye is used
Juniper stitch
Lana, do you use double strañd #4 yarn on the 41 peg?
Not usually I like chunky wool but occasionally I do.
this can be a be a blanket as well? i can just cast on then just do this? thank you.
You can make anything you want with it. i
@@DeborahShaw thank you so much. I'm Glade I found this channel. You make simple.
Hi Deborah did u intend to do a modified owl eye border? On your return u wrapped both pegs 2 times instead of just the 2nd. Thanks for verification
I worked out an edge that works and yes i intended it.
Deborah Shaw thanks did not think first was sent using terra magic with some velvet yarn. Fun to do.
Corners i am not getting them is there a easy way for coners please
Its a stich video and I gave you a corner that worked. You can try to find your own corner or watch it a few times until you get it. Its really not hard
Can you do this to make a hat
