Thank you for documenting everything! Wishing my grandmother was still alive to show her. She loved dancing to the Mummers strut in her kitchen. Thanks for bringing that moment back to me. I really enjoyed the string band performances this year. Watched at home. But thanks for this. It makes me feel like I was there. A fantastic job!
Happy Anniversary miss captain and mr captain. I hope you continue to do these mummers videos i really enjoy them and truthfully you got me back into watching them. My mother passed away 6 years ago and she loved the mummers and i couldn't watch them. So thank you for these videos and it felt like my mom was watching the parade with me. Happy New Year
This Ferko band did say it with their Music , the judges just don’t know great music is hen they hear it . This band was wonderful the arrangements the theme and the ❤ of this band showed thru . Please keep up with your beautiful Ferko sound coming for man more yrs to come . I used to know Mr J Ferko he as my druggist on 5 th & Glenwood . We were at 3rd & Ontario back in the day . I’m in South Jersey now and for 67 yrs believe me my father and grandfather took me every yr to the parade and show of shows. This band was in my old neighborhood but always in my heart . Nothing sounds sweeter than a Ferko Song . Thank you all for carrying on this wonderful tradition ❤️🎉🪕🎷🎭

In these 80yo eyes, your show and costumes won 1st place. I’ve watched the Mummers Parade since it was televised back in the 50’s I believe. My Uncle Russell Boyer marched in the parade and in 1960, I marched down 2 street with him.

Both bands sounded great, Jon! I belonged to the original Avalon String Band in the late 60’s and early 70’s.
