Wow that is some intense training! I can see why your skill level is so high! You definitely show me that I need to train! I am only maybe 10 sessions into climbing and doing some V1 - V4s. Great tips on the campus board! Can't wait to try some of it out!! Happy climbing from Texas!
Sofya can we get a video on your strength workout? You are putting out amazing videos for people that might want to incorporate more into their climbing routine. Thank you!
@@sofya_yokoyama nice! Can I also ask you another thing? How would you schedule a week of training for people on their first year of climbing? People usually say just climb, but I think some of us might want to improve their overall fitness level to go hand in hand with climbing.
I guess it all depends on how much time you have but I think having one strength session, one hangboard session, and maybe one campus session every week is a good start. Start off gradually of course, if it’s too much then reduce the training to what feels right for you!
I really like your strenght endurance work out. I can just remove most of the reps, double the breaks and it works as a max strenght exercise! But seriously, that's super strong and impressive, as well as informative. I especially like the up and down exercise, as it's way more efficient and focused effort on useful movement compared to matching the upper hold every repetition.
If the setup at your gym also has footholds underneath the campus board (like hers) you can try to do these exercises whilst using your feet. That will take a lot of the weight down.
Beginners shouldn't use the campus board as there is a high risk of injuring yourself. Should generally only be using the campus board to train if you are climbing at least v6/7a. Otherwise hangboarding or just climbing more/with higher intensity will be safer and more beneficial to a beginner.
Sofya is BACK. Had my popcorn ready a couple of weeks ago waiting for the next video, had to go to bad crying, unsatisfied. Days, then weeks went by, I almost lost all will to live. Just kidding but glad to see more quality content 😂
Trop forte!! J'aime bien les petits détails comme par exemple quand tu précises que tu commence par ton bras faible! J'espère tu vas percer ahah P.s.:Tu es genevoise?
I’m going to film a week of training and post all the info about when I do what! But I try to not do campusing the same day as I do finger strength or normal strength. I usually do finger strength and normal strength the same day and campusing the next day !
0:52 I definitely gonna try that warm-up looks like a lot of fun😂

Do not train this hard if you’re new to climbing.
@@bryanbryan6108it's ok if managed properly

Heyy Sofya...such a nice video... cool thumbnail as well!!
Deffently gonna try all of these :D
I enjoyed it
Thanks for the inside. Was kind a surprised you focused on power endurance instead of pure power on the campus board.
Could you do a video about campus training for beginners? :)
(or have you already? I just discovered your channel)
Greetings from Germany :)
Yes, I can put together some easier exercises!

Ahah non vaudoise ✌️
cool shirt :D
When in the week do you do this session? You have two other finger boarding sessions as you mentioned in the previous video? How do you fit them in?

The dance break is mandatory right? 😂
For suuureee
Tu pourrais refaire la même vidéo en français :)))
Powerwoman like Lara Croft;-))
no 1-4-7 :(
1-4-7 is close to max strength, doesn’t fit in with power endurance ahah but I do do those :)
