It was time to sell the Range Rover, I bought it as a present for my wife and surprised her with it a year ago. So since I've bought her the new Defender it was only right that I part ways with the old car. A lot of people in the comments we saying that the Defender was a 'downgrade' to the SVR but I can assure you that after the @UrbanAutomotive upgrades it's not even in the same league.

Urban Range Rover SVR or Urban Defender V8?

Think it has to be the svr for me, don’t get me wrong the defender is nice
I guess everyone has their own opinion, but for me personally, I'd choose the SVR every single time, probably because it's one of my favorite SUVs and I love every single thing about it. The Defender is nice, I have nothing against it, it's just the SVR does it all for me.
Looks shit tho the SVR and the image the give is terrible

Anyone with an ounce of global car industry knowledge (chip shortage) and who is financially savy knows in 1 or 2 years time this will probably be worth the same as he paid for it new if not more (especially if his wife puts less than 10k miles in 2 years. These defenders will still be in HIGH demand. There will still be a chip shortage in twelve months and it wouldn't surprise me if they stop doing this engine in 2years just like the C63!.
Yianni may Re-wrap his car as often as the English weather changes but he does it at base cost (pennies to him as its his business). You don't see him waist money anywhere else do you! Credit where it's due, He's a smart guy.

Every car dealership here is sold out. Honda dealerships that would normally have 200+ cars in stock have 0 - 3 right now. I have a Range Rover and the dealership told me if I wanted a new one today it's a 1 year wait. My close friend is waiting 1 year for a Tesla model 3. All of my friends who worked at car dealership got laid off. It's insane.
@@biggestthreattoyourexistence key being they don’t have excess stock, they have build orders so you can get cars still that dealers order throughout the year. Yianni is well known so he can do this flipping cars much easier than the average buyer.

Yani do what you do, it has served you well so far! People are entitled to their opinions, but it's your money and your choice at the end of the day. You have the charisma in swaying people to your way of thinking. Car is different and you don't see much fenders on the road like this.
Car wrapping, I had this idea in 1992, just left high school, back then the materials were so expensive so I left it, I’ve been watching your shows for years now I must admit you have a awesome taste in design, your wrapping methods are absolutely grand.

I ordered a car. My first car. I leased a CLA 180 coupe AMG line executive. Got it for 9+35 and 10k miles for £360/month. Just wanted to share this because I'm honestly really excited. The cars coming in January and until then this is probably all im going to be able to think of. Probably should've gone electric but I like coupes/saloons and there isn't really anything exciting available yet

@@imrantahir1678 what do you mean 9+35? Also what sort of credit score do you need for finance?
@@piovo5222 9+35 means the first payment is multiplied by 9. The car costs £360.04/month so the initial rental (the 9 from the 9+35) is 360.04x9 which is £3240.06. The next 35 months I'm going to have to pay £360.04/month. This is the lease term. You seem pretty interested in leasing a car so if you have any more questions just ask. I'm not an expert but since this was my first time I should be of some help.
I'm not sure what kind of credit score you NEED for finance but obviously the better the credit score the better. According to the RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) app I have a credit score of 631/710. Before ordering this car I did order another car (CLA AMG Line premium plus) but Mercedes decided to stop producing that car for the new generation of CLA so that deal fell through. I'm still waiting for the processing fee to be refunded. The cancellation didn't effect my credit score
@@imrantahir1678 I see, my next car I am going to be leasing and have always been sort of confused when it comes to it because nobody I know has gone through the process so I can’t ask around. I will probably ask you a few more questions when time does come though.
Definitely a defender over the range, everyone and their dog has a range. I love the aggressive g wagon style to these cars. Saw an urban one up essex with lime green accents and it sounded the dogs danglies, think it had a quad valved system on it. 👌🏻🔥
The defender with a satin white and carbon fibre combo, would have made it stand out much more... And would have been something very unusual!!!
Urban did a fantastic job with the Defender🔥 The partial wrap is the right balance on the aesthetics, I would never have considered it otherwise 👌👏🏾🎉
I'm glad you bought this up, there's alot of models that have the same exact engine as the better known models for less money. I saw a 07 ml63 amg for 15k where as the same year c63 going for 20k+
I’d have the defender over the SVR any day, looks angrier and looks like it could drive through a concrete wall. Better choice 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Never understand why people make comments like "eh, that's a downgrade" "I would be pi**ed off it that was me" - who cares if he sold the SVR and bought a Datsun! His life, his money, just be grateful for the great content guys!

There's a black defender in the back when he's at urban and the wheels on that are so sweet. It's only in the frame for a short while @ 2.45

Just depends on what you’re doing. The Sport drives much better, sporty, has a far nicer interior. But the defender is better off road and has much more room inside
I don’t think he will be taking that off road anytime soon. Especially after putting that body kit on it.

i am driving a bmw e38 with alpina front spoiler bbs wheels lowered with bc coilovers which are adjustable and no rust at all only 1 owner from new when i waas at the lights some guy pulled up to me in his flashy 22 reg car and people was still looking and giving me compliments lol it shows you whose boss.

If you want a Defender get a Bowler Defender or get a Ibex 4x4 custom made to order from Chassis UP, as for I have a Duster because it does 40 miles to gallon , later on I upgrade it and turn into a extreme 4x4.
Defender looks absolutely stunning. Everyone has a RRS, not many have defenders and certainly not Urban ones. Thief magnet though.

As an L405 and L663 owner, if I had to get rid of one it’d def be the Defender.
People don’t understand that this is the best way to avoid depreciation, obviously he could get the same car again but why not switch things up, it’s not like he’s gonna keep it for a long period of time
Unpopular opinion here, but I am not a fan of Urban body kits, I think they look overly messed with. This defender though, spot on. The side by side view of before and after is breath-taking. A shame its not a factory option, I am sure they would sell most of the cars looking like this over the 'standard' car.

Yianni, the difference is not apparent as both cars are black. As I understand your partnership with Urban is commercial, perhaps it would make more sense to showcase the add ons and extras on a different coloured/wrapped car. Something really flashy and "in your face" rather than the unassuming and unflattering black.
