He just fooled the bollywood audience😂... it's okay, they will get used to the same story and characters again and again in Atlee's upcoming Hindi movies... if a movie collects well at box office it doesn't mean the movie is good... This movie crossed 1000 crores box office collection only because of SRK's stardom and the unusual story with which the bollywood audiences are not used to. Atlee copied his previous movie and South movie scenes straight into Jawan. He can't write good stories anymore. All he wants to do is cast bigger actors and invest huge budget into some stupid action masala scripted movies. Such a feminist a**hole ( that's what he has done in his previous three movies)
Atlee knows the audience' pulse. People like to watch their hero in larger than life avatars and who better than SRK to play them. SRK did really well and was ably supported by all the actors, BGM worked big time and the rest is history.
Tamil Telugu version of Jawan flopped because of over repeated story of old Tamil Perarasu film . Hope he makes some sensible movie next time

Dear Atlee, I'm a die hard SRK fan and this is my story.
After Zero when I first heard about his collaboration with you, I was scared as hell, because I wasn't aware of your art and used to looked down upon mass cinema and wanted Shah sir to do art movies. Then the title announcement came, I was impressed but still scared, then the prevue came, I was mind blown but still scared because deep down I though it'll be the same over the top no story commercial movie, then the trailer came I was confident till then that this is sure shot something amazing. And finally when I watched FDFS I burst into tears, there were so many emotions inside me and a broad smile on my face because I knew this was a masterclass. From doubting on you to watching the movie 6 times in theatre, you won a fan. And after this interview I love you just a little less than how much I love Shahrukh Sir. Thank you Atlee anna you don't know what this movie means to me. Thank you for presenting my favourite like this on the big screen, thank you for giving my favourite one of the best films of his career, thank you for introducing me to mass cinema, thank you for making me this happy.

loved his answer on flashbacks , commercial cinema. I like that he basically understands and aware of the fact that he is making the movie as a fan for the fans in heroic mass style and knows that film may lack something for critics or may not be perfect. Eventually he goes for entertaining massy film and make it believable for the audience , also try to make movie for making most people happy after watching the movie.
Atlee is refreshingly honest. Really good interview guys. Also love How Anupama asked some really good questions allowing Atlee an opportunity to speak about his craft.

Jawan is such incredible film, it's much more than mass action film and it's not mindless action film , it's speaks to audience throughout the film and such a brilliant screenplay man , it's 3 hours film and it engages you at every level ,in this time where people get bore after every second reels , this man film hold ur attention in 3 hours film ,and he is unapologetic about his mass films,he is very clear about what he is making
What atlee creates with vijay & Srk on screen is something special which can never be replicated by any director. That is tough to get it right & requires tremendous amount of effort & hardwork as well. Yes, we can criticize his cliched storytelling inspired from many movies. But, ultimately he delivers thats what matters. One thing i would like to see atlee improve is get his writing very strong in future.

Inspirations are something that every director does it. It's just that he has done it repeatedly through his screenplay. Some go unnoticed because they bring inspirations from foreign directors, cinematography etc. e.g many music reviewers say that Anirudh brings foreign music elements and creates a fusion with Indian music. For people who are not aware of these technical things it seems extraordinary music talent, for those who have knowledge it's still interesting to hear something different, for those who support legends they criticize for his overuse of EDMs. Just an example I wanted to share. Atlee is great at showing larger than life characters which is suitable for only big stars except his debut movie. That's a talent and he has learnt from his mentor Shankar. We need to appreciate such things except if someone totally remakes/copies a whole storyline. At the end all of us want entertainment and Atlee doesn't fail at it and that too with big stars like Vijay & SRK which he has proved. He can improve with original writing but even if he doesn't he still makes sure to make grandeur movies with the talent he has.

Guys like Maneesh Sharma, Rahul Dholakia, Anand Rai couldn’t tame monster stardom of SRK & collapsed
Watched the whole interview one thing i found amazing and i am in all suprised about Atlee sir man the amount of clarity he had through out the interview.. He's sooooo sweet! We want Jawan 2 boss!!!! About violence, we noticed that he's not going gory, but grabs the heart in the right place. He's no way BASIC! But even if he is, it's fabulous to get the basics right rather than messing up the not so basics. If he has a signature style of of making movies, it's all good until/ if he decides to bring changes. If the audience loves it, that's all that matters. We are also happy for you Atlee... He understands the market and pulse of the people beyond the Metro cities. And he follows a bottom up approach of developing the story for the hero from a fan perspective and doesn’t write the story and then pick actors for it .
I don't have much patience to watch the whole interview for any random director but when it comes to Atlee, I have to watch it.

I saw the movie yesterday, and now I'm obsessed with the process, how was it cast, how does the director think... the behind the scenes is just as equally impressive, this interview is amazing!
I am a huge SRK fan not just for his acting but love the way he interacts with fan , interviews with Journalist which portrays his wittiness etc.. Having said that it doesn't mean I watch all his films in a theatre but secretly always rooting & wishing SRK films to do well. Luvd the cast, especially Chaleya,/Aiyyoda song melody is fab. ❤❤❤❤❤ to all. Atlees luv for the heroes is like one among us. SRK has a good combination of being witty & lovable like DQ.. Yash , Vijay, Rajnikant, Allu Arjun has a swag, style in their performance. Surya, FaFa , Lal, Mamooty, Kamalhasan they surprise us with their performance. Few others are Aliya, Manju Warrier, Deepika , List goes on & on.. ......
This is why South is the BEST because all they talk about is LOVE.❤❤❤

Intriguing questions from the anchor made one to understand the thought process of a director. Especially the one on flash back , it reflects the normal behavior of person. The two month feedback loop post movie release and bring it drawing board for the next movie reflect the Atlee thought process in understanding psyche of common man.

He’s unabashedly honest and a fan , even though I didn’t enjoy Jawaan as much as I anticipated, Atlee definitely is a good director because of his honesty and “love” for his heroes and their stories , this is exactly what Rohit Shetty talks about, and Mass cinema is not at all easy sometimes this fact often overlooked, the conviction to derive suspension of disbelief into a believable narrative takes efforts, so Atlee definitely commands respect.

Bro, all tamils can able to communicate in hindi by experience . But, all tamils are not fluent except some guys who already worked in North and some studied since child hood. There are no restrictions in tamil for hindi , anybody like, can learn and speak. For preserving our mother tongue and culture , all tamils must keep tamil as oxygen to breath.
