  • follow these steps:
1、Prepare your workspace with all necessary materials and ensure it is well-ventilated.
2、Mix a 3:1 ratio of epoxy resin and hardener thoroughly until it is clear and streak-free.
3、Divide the mixture into three parts and tint each with black, deep green, and purple pigments respectively. Mix each color thoroughly.
4、Let the colored resin sit for about 1 hour to thicken slightly, which will help prevent the colors from blending too much when poured.
5、Prepare your molds and pour the colored resin into them, creating layers or patterns as you desire. Use a toothpick or a stick to manipulate the resin into your preferred design.
6、Sprinkle glitter and place blue and green cellophane pieces along the borders where different colors meet to create a distinct, shimmering boundary.
7、Use UV resin to position and fix the dried flowers in place within the resin. The UV resin acts as a quick-setting adhesive under UV light./
8、Finally, cover the composition with a layer of clear epoxy resin mixed at a 3:1 ratio. This seals in the entire design.
9、Remove any bubbles that might have formed by gently going over with a heat gun or a torch. Be careful not to overheat any single area./
10、Allow the resin to cure completely as per the manufacturer's instructions. This could take anywhere from 24-48 hours.
11、Once cured, you can demold your pieces and attach the hardware to turn them into keychains.

Why purple and black colours not mixing in the transparent resin after pouring?...please can you explain?

If you wait until your resin thickens before pouring into a mold, the resin doesn't move as much. The hard part is figuring out how long to wait to get the viscosity that works for what you want it to do (or not do)

Epoxy resin can be categorized into three types based on their mixing ratios, which affect their viscosity, bubble formation during mixing, and curing times.
1:1 Ratio Epoxy Resin: This is the most common type. It has the highest viscosity, making it the thickest among the three types. Due to its thickness, it tends to trap air bubbles more easily during mixing, which might not be ideal for projects requiring a clear finish.
2:1 Ratio Epoxy Resin: This type offers a better balance compared to the 1:1 ratio epoxy. It has a lower viscosity than the 1:1 ratio, making it somewhat easier to mix and reducing the likelihood of air bubble entrapment. It's a middle ground between ease of use and final clarity.
3:1 Ratio Epoxy Resin: The 3:1 ratio epoxy resin has the thinnest consistency, making it the easiest to mix among the three types. Its low viscosity significantly reduces the chances of air bubble formation. However, it requires a longer curing time of 24 hours. Despite the extended curing period, this type is preferred by some for its ability to produce a clear, bubble-free finish.
Personal Preference: Despite the longer curing time required for 3:1 ratio epoxy resin, it is favored for applications where clarity

Is UV resin better to use than Epoxy Resin? These are Beyond Beautiful ❤

When making larger items with resin, UV glue is generally not used because it's hard to cure thoroughly. I usually use UV glue to secure parts, as a small amount of UV glue can be cured immediately. Using UV glue for small items like rings or necklace pendants is a good choice.

Each mold requires approximately 40ml of epoxy resin. It's recommended to mix 50ml for the first attempt, as each mold's depth varies, and with a few trials, you can determine the standard amount needed.
