Department of Occupational Therapy at NIPMR - Thrissur

National Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (NIPMR) is an autonomous Institution under the Social Justice Department. NIPMR designs, develops and implements therapeutic, educational, vocational and awareness programmes in disability for the service providers, who are working for the care and cause of children/persons with disabilities for their rehabilitation and mainstreaming in the society.
Occupational therapy department functions with the aim of improving quality of life, promotion of health and well being and to bring meaning and purpose to life among all age groups. The occupational therapists work together with people and communities to enhance their ability to perform activities of daily living and to engage in occupations they want or are expected to do.
