in the game u had to check everything to understand I knew u guys rush to not play anymore. You had to look around for clues to understand the story.
Joey created a alternate version of Joey Drew Studios inside the ink machine inside his apartment and it's trapped the souls of the former employees of the studio. Whenever Henry destroys bendy he's sent back to the start of the story, because when he defeats bendy the loop resets. That's why in chapter 2 Sammy says he recognizes Henry because he's met him hundreds of times before.
