Similar to Zeppelin? Sure. But their song writing abilities, musicianship, Josh’s range, SELF taught, and at that age?? Absolutely worth recognizing. Love these guys and they’re incredible

He said he wished people would move on bc it's the same thing over and over. They know they sound like them, but they want to separate themselves from them and create their own unique entity. Like they are doing now.

I love that GVF is getting the respect they deserve. They are so f'ing talented. When I got the new album I started reading the lyrics and was just blown away. They are really good. I mean like Frost, Longfellow, and Whitman good. How can someone so young write like that? I'm so jealous, and all the naysayers out there are as well. Rock on GVF!!!

I know that they hate being at all associated with Led Zeppelin, but worth it to mention that they were absolutely demolished by the press in their day. The fans are still who matters, and who get the final say.
Matt Cantu while I don’t agree with the hate GVF gets Zeppelin wasn’t getting it back then for being a copy of other bands. They were getting it for sounding completely different than everything else.

What’s crazy is that when I first discovered this band back in February, I was beyond speechless. I loved everything I heard. However, I thought to myself that because of today’s music scene, these guys weren’t gonna go far unfortunately. BOY WAS I PROVEN WRONG!!! AND GLAD THAT I WAS!!!!! LONG LIVE GRETA VAN FLEET!!!!!!

The biggest Christmas store is awesome. Go to Frankenmuth, MI in December and you will know Christmastown! Bronner's is the Christmas store and it is gigantic!! When you are in Frankenmuth you have to eat at Zehnder's. The best family style chicken dinner you every had!!
These guys are young, intelligent, grounded, VERY talented and I just love them.... I hope they have years of success ahead of them.

This was such a fun interview!
I am so cool because I discovered these guys before you did lol, I'm joking. but I have been watching them from there start, and things are moving fast, I never really expected them to get four Grammy nominations so soon, I want to see a Grammy performance from them at the Grammy's when they pick up at least one of those awards. it will be nice to see them in a professionally done production, like when they were on the tonight show. instead of all these youtube videos shot on cell phones.
(( any votes on what song should be played for there Grammy performance ? )) maybe it will depend on witch award they win.
I don’t think they have to perform whatever songs they are nominated for. I really hope its LLTB, not the extended 20 minute + version of course, but they could possibly do a 6 minute version similar to Coachella. It’s an epic rock song that showcases each members individual talents. I’m not holding my breath though. So It’s probably gonna be When The Curtain Falls or Highway Tune. They are a rock band and the Grammys are going to want them perform a high energy rock song , I assume.
