I noticed how enthusiastic each of them is when it comes to talking about the musical stuffs in the interviews.. Really enjoyable to see such musicians!
Hard to really say. They're all good. What's interesting is that, when playing live, you can sometimes hear Jake and Same make mistakes. And they've talked about it too. Although they're good, you know, they're still at a point in this career where that happens man. It's just natural. As far as skill. I wouldn't say Sam is SIGNIFICANTLY better than anyone else lol. It's hard to project/make that assumption.
Really love how he tells us how fun it is to play in Greta Van Fleet, despite having the song very difficult, it kinda reflects mine. As a Guitarist (first was a bassist but changed to guitar), I would say that it is indeed fun with what they do live or non-live. My band, on the other hand always do live and not by video which is why it is fun. I'm just 14 who joined a band just a year (and got officially got into the role of a guitarist last month) so Sam's thoughts are basically why I'm officially in a band.
He has joy and enthusiasm for his playing! If the other two brothers are like this then I get why they’re so successful now! Fun Cool young guy! Not jaded, cynical or bored in fact the opposite! Good for him!
Before famous,my wife and I took a trip to Frankemuth,Mi. A Christmas town year round. Went to the tourist office asked what was new in town, this little old lady gave me cheese coupon said they had an up and coming band.Honestly, I turn my head rolled my eyes. Its a polka town Boy was I wrong! Apologies..to the little old lady. Madonna born next town over.
The hottest music teacher EVER!!! So enthusiastic! A love of music for sure. I don't even know how to read music, nothing! So thanks for the lesson, Sammy!
not only is his sound on Sam's bass probably set to how he usually has it got shows, but the bass in his hands is modified because it's a jazz neck that is attached to a precision bass body and in his words "the neck just popped right in and didn't have to be shaved or anything" according to his video on rig rundown
More and more bands must take inspiration from the best era of modern Music : the 60 70 and 80's!!!! rock funk disco soul new wave pop ...there is so musch masterpieces to take inspiration from!!!
Sam feels very adhd lol. The way he explains things and goes through it in his head reminds me of how I get when I’m explaining something I’m interested in lol.
I was just thinking the same thing lol. He’s like my brother where if you get him talking about his interests he will just go on and on and into detail. Same with josh. Love to see people light up when they get to explain their special interests lol.
i believe in an interview with Karen ( the boy’s mom) she confirmed that both the twins have either ADHD or ADD i can’t remember which but both the boys have it. i’m pretty sure it has been mentioned in sam but im not 100% positive on him.
@@Smog.hater.420 highway tune sounds 100% like a zeppelin song but Josh has so much more range than that. the similarity catches your ear for sure at first but they're their own thing and I wish they got more credit for songs like edge of darkness that DON'T sound like zeppelin songs
Je partage à fond votre enthousiasme pour la basse et je vous remercie pour cette video, Greta van fleet remets à l'honneur le Rock des années 70 and it's Amazing !!
I was the 666th like on this video and not to be dramatic or anything but what kinda ritual could one perform to get Sam in their bed/heart, asking for a friend
The band is good but sometimes I feel they go so sophisticated with the lyrics, just be more simple and have a wild and young attitude towards your music. Dont be like many bands of today that has the same structure in their songs and try to be so smart.
Love Sams enthusiasm. He just enjoys what he's doing. Love watching him play.
Imagine Sam being your bass teacher !
“Oh shoot that’s not actually in the song” 😂
Hes like a happy puppy
Sam’s bass sounds unreal in this, as always.
I wouldn't say the same for the other guy😂
He’s so passionate, precious and cute in this video 😩💛
He really knows his stuff plus he’s very passionate and excited when talking which is also great
sammy always gets so excited about stuff&things i just love the fact that he's such an angel njsghasiughagdk
I love how he dissects the bass parts and I love that mo-town vibe
Imagine Sam being your bass teacher 🤩

Zach: That b flat sounds great right there...
Sam: ...Ya I think that’s why I did it 🤣🤣🤣

Sam is one precious human being. :)
It is such a joy to watch Sammy on stage play that bass! He is so Intuit, can't imagine how that must feel!
Intuit... nice. :-) He is at that.
I be like that other dude, “now what did you do there?”
Haha yeah "Go back, what the hell was that!"
I love how much he enjoys just playing.
man i love how happy he sounds when he speaks about it
BASSment... I love him🙃
He actually said Bassmint* referring to the color of his bass :P

There's a genius to sams bass parts just what the song needs
Talent, humility and enthusiasm.I will follow this band!
Oh for the love of music..bless Sammy and the rest of the boys
He’s such an angel I adore him🖤
You can tell how much they gig with how tight he plays those bass lines
His bass sounds amazing! Cool lines in this song
I love him, he's so talented 😍

The way he comprehends music was so evident here, great video! Love all the guys from GVF! 🤘🏼
His playing has even gotten so much better!
sam ur a blessing to this universe.

Yeah Michigan puts out a lot of talent.
Dave Roberts it’s a lesson to go outside of your bias to discover some gems in life.
Madonna next town over - crazy!!
Lol i am from muth
Madonna is in the hall of fame. I HOPE GRETA NEVER LAND IN THAT SHITHOLE. It's beneath them.
10min free lesson! Wow! So much going on, Greta is amizing
Awesome! Greetings from Brazil.
Such a vibrant person and playing!
i’ve never seen sam so happy
Magic of GVF is every guy is soooo vested and committtteddddddddd ( he looks a little like Josh! )
He could even make Brand NEW Levi's come back : o

Good stuff! Wish I could find people that were that passionate about writing.
So smart,so good, bad ass❣❣❣ Sam you are so good and funny too.... Please stay GROUNDED..Love 💜💜💜GVF💜💜💜
he is so happy when he talks about his bass thats so cuteee😭
Why does the other guys bass sound really bad?
He gave the guest - Sam the good amp.
Also sounds like he might be using overdrive and likes a thinner tone, but I'm not sure.
I think Sam's bass has been modified.
the way someone plays with their right hand has a huge impact on how fat the bass sounds. Sam probably has a better technique than the interviewer
not only is his sound on Sam's bass probably set to how he usually has it got shows, but the bass in his hands is modified because it's a jazz neck that is attached to a precision bass body and in his words "the neck just popped right in and didn't have to be shaved or anything" according to his video on rig rundown
Can’t believe I’m just finding this. I see myself back here tomorrow with bass in my hands. Gotta do this! Looks like a great time!
Really Great! Best play by Sam in the Song "The cold Wind", imo.

That Midwestern "ope" - 2:44 #OneOfUs
I really like this guy
Goooood, his hair are my goals💓
I could watch Sam geek out over bass all day
The recording for the track was done live - of course!
It sounds so loose and dynamic, it screams "live"
Slapa Da bass mon

This is proof they're not just LZ imitators, they're coming into their own and finding their sound. I can't wait for the new album to drop

GVF make their own songs, they don't have to give credit to anyone.
To be fair, led should give credit to all the blues they stole.
Sam is such a genuine soul 🎸
In 8:02 it sounds like Am I Evil. Like the drum part
Best bassist now!!!
I love bass lines. Wish I was better at writing them. Lol I'll get better, I'm primarily a guitarist.
Wow. He is boogeying as usual on those strings. Sweet arrangement. lol
Love greta van fleet
Greta Van Fleet should cover Barracuda

Like number 1000 let's go
GVF send me a signed vinyl pls
Very good musician... the only in the band that i appreciate
That’s because you are jealous of the twins. It’s very hard not to be. Jake is in the stratosphere

666 as in the sign of the beast, because yours is a 666 comment, ugh.
Sams bass sounds great but that other dude sounds like he’s plugged into a squire 🤣
He’s literally running circles around this guy musically and intellectually lol
I mean it’s his music, he wrote it and he performed it every night at the time, of course he is doing circles versus the other guy
