One thing to note, this is the very first Final Fantasy with voice over to be natively made for English first then translated/dubbed to Japanese and other languages rather than Japanese first. This means the awkward pauses, grunts, and other weird gestures won't be there like other Final Fantasy.
This might become the best FF game to date, also it's the first Rated M title too. The FF14 team directed/worked on this with DMC5 devs & Dragon's Dogma devs. You even got a doggo as a party member. Super hyped for this!!!
CBU3 (Creative Business Unit 3) is the group within Square-Enix that's handling XVI development. CBU3 also does XI and XIV. The Heavensward team is the one handling XVI development (story, programming elements). Soken is doing music. Koji Fox is doing translation. Yes, there is a lot of crossover and character design similarities. _Edit:_ Fist trailer, before it even got to the 'Shiva' part, there was someone going "This is 1000% the Realm Reborn crew."
