I am part of the praise team in a small church and am really grateful for these tutorials. I am not that skillful but you inspired me to do well. ❤️ Thanks for uploading these vids man. God bless you and keep on shining! 😊
It's just a pattern on the first five notes of the key of the song! Cool. And it doesn't matter what chord you use to get it started, because you're still just using the first 5 notes of the key of the song. Brilliant.
Nik, my man... The way you explain things is so good people would need help to MISunderstand it! Loved this video. This was great! Keep up the great content!

I'm since 30 minutes on his youtube Channel and i don't regret something, since i was born, even now ,i am playing at piano by sound and i didn't learnt something from interent cuz i found those tips useless and now i'm looking at that channel and here exist too many, like, toooooo many useful and incredible tips i wanna learn day by day , @ImprovePianoTips i hope you will not stop doing videos bro cuz youtube need someone with incredible and beautiful (and clean sound) videos like yours bro , i swear i was searching a lot and i still searching piano tutorials i can use and channels i can follow (i have playlists with piano tutorials and i don't use them) and i feel like my mission is done bro,i found something what you can't find at any others channels ,including your style, wich is beautiful and seems like my style and i wanna learn that kind of style more and more so i hope you will not be dejected by any kind of bad comments cuz you make the most useful and beautiful tutorials i ever seen and and that tells you someone who search an entire life for amazing tutorials (even exist a lot on youtube but i found your style so unique) and i feel like i found the perfect ones,i will post that to comments section not in as a reply cuz i hope that you will see that comment and that comment just to give you a boost of inspiration (sorry for my english,i don't speak english very good),hope you enjoy the comment as i enjoy your videos.Good Luck mate.
Lovely pattern, so much appreciated! I'm still confused though about how to play it over other chords than the I and the II chord. Lets take the easy pattern in C. Over the I chord (C): left hand plays c and g, right hand d and e. Over the II chord (Dm) you would change the left hand to d and a, but keep the right hand at d and e. So what about the III chord (Em)? Left hand plays e and b, and right hand still plays d and e? That sounds a lot less sparkly to me. Same for the IV, V and VI chord. Should I be moving my right hand to other notes, or does this pattern just sound best on the I and the II chord?
Awesome. I tend to listen until I know what notes are played and THEN I practice it to get my fingers to play what I know in my head. I am not too good at technique (the beat) as I haven’t had any formal training with reading music so if I want to stay on beat I just have to get it in my head and practice to get the finger work down. It does feel like a hindrance at times...
You just instantly became one of my favourite youtubers. Been trying to teach myself piano for a couple years now and it looks like I have finally found the channel I need for my level! :D Awesome content bro :D
Maestro: your method for teaching is effective and understandable to an amateur like me. Do you have a reference sheet for this lesson? Please do not stop, ever. Grazie R
This is a great run, and once you get your head around it, it’s really quite simple. I have to say though...switching keys constantly between the easy and hard run versions is confusing and would have been quicker to,learn and you have done both in C then shown a couple of quick examples in other keys.
thank you,... you explain things very well (a bit fast but it keeps the listener more attentive 😊).. subscribed.. liked and shared to other piano learning enthusiasts, so that they too, can find out how much they can learn from you 😁
Awesome! That is one of my favorites songs and i was thinking to play it to my girl . Please make a tutorial of "the scientist" like you do with those awesome rhythms :). I have learned and improved so many songs i know with your videos. Thanks
Ok, I play the piano as a hobby and just because I love it (have never taken lessons) and after this video I feel like I understand much more now hahah I just hope one day I could be half as good as you. Not gonna happen but I'll try:)
The easy run at 17.09 fits just one bar, not two as it should. It's ok if you play alone, but not in a band. Anyway it's a very good tutorial, thank you!
Can someone explain me what does he play at 17:09 just after the pattern he explain in this video ? It looks like a C arpeggio played by both hands but which note is played at which moment ? Is there a video explaining this ?
Always listen listen listen listen. You might find your favorite 'run' in classical music or pop or...then pull it out, master it...lengthen it...whatever. ALBERTI.
hey sir, just a question why in b major you were hitting the 2 or 9 and the 6th note in your right hand while in c major your using the 1 and 5 note? im quite confused there.
