    Hello from Eagle River, Alaska. My husband and I decided to start a new hobby. Me most of all lol. We have tons of different wood here and this is exciting. Thanks for the great video!

      You definitely can! I always think the best art isn’t about creating something that’s perfectly accurate to what you see, anyone with enough practice can draw something that’s hyper realistic, it just takes time to learn, but drawing and creating something that shows the world how you see something is what’s special. I love Japanese ink wash painting because the philosophy behind it is about capturing a sense of spirit rather than a carbon copy. You don’t need it to be photorealistic, it just has to convey what you’re feeling 😊👍
