Hi. Thanks for the complete RA disassembly video. I am having a problem with my CGEPRO too. The RA axis used to jump at times like yours does while tracking and now after about 2-3 nights of running, the RA axis gets completely stuck. The motor makes a wheezing sound but the mount doesnt move. The sound isnt the ticking type so I know that the gear teeth arent slipping. Just that it seems that the motor isnt getting enough power to slew. The DEC motors are slewing fine so I know it isnt a power issue. My mount isnt slewing at all in RA at the moment. I am completely helpless. I hope your mount gets fine very soon. Clear Skies.
Hi Janmejoy, Sorry to hear about your problem. Have you tried swapping DEC and RA drives? That should tell you if the problem is in the motor/gearbox or in the driver board. If it moves with the DEC drive but DEC doesn't, then it's probably a bad control board. If the RA drive moves the DEC axis, but DEC can't move RA, then it's something with the motor and gears. Thanks, Beo Clear Skies (and a working mount!)

You could put a dial indicator on the gear to check for jumps
