Interesting SWR meter Paul . Thanks for your review. As a QRP operator I always worry about losing any of my power to SWR meters and this one relies on your RF power to illuminate the LEDs. I know the power required is not much but my preference for QRP meters is to use the 'Bridge type' SWR meter that can be switched out of circuit once resonance has been achieved. 73 Bruce G4ABX
I would open it and try to reduce resistor values to give it a 1 -10W range. Would also be nice to fit the correct connectors. I'll buy one and try it.
Dear Poul..., if you dummy load is variable, like 50, 100, 150 ohm.., for 1:1, 2:1, 3:1 respectively, you can be more confident for the readers and performance for the new test set... but look like promising.., thanks YV6ENB
Jedna maličkost mi tam přece jen chyběla. Měl jste oba SWR metry zapojit v opačném pořadí aby bylo vidět jaký útlum má ten LEDkový. Jelikož VF energie rozsvěcuje LED jistě to nebude úplně zanedbatelné.

De acuerdo. Saludos Leopoldo de 2w0yvy
Good review, thank you!
Or. You could get a n6ara tinyswr meter. Ham radio tube channel - n6ara tinyswr meter build
Show! Extremo portabilidade❤
Any idea how to get this working on QRP power? Would be a nice addition to the G106 and other QRP radios below 5 watts
good point thanks
hi, can you share the schematic of the mini swr bridge?

Super klein und Sehr fein Paul Dankeschön DG1XT TOM
I have that same meter, and it beeps as well (periodically)
Is there one on VHF/UHF?
Seems nice!
I would like to see 100w through it
How does it measure 100% correct when your other meter shows 1.3 swr, and this one shows 1.0? That cant be right
Hello , nice review. Is there any option to get it with bnc instead of PL? 73 qro and Happy New Year to you. HB9GUR Phil
Thanks! I don't think so. I have used BNC adapters
I guess you could swap the LEDs for the extra bright versions ???
Thanks Paul. 73 DE TA2BOS
There is no simple, effective and confusing information. Thanks for the review OM0ET. 🙏🏻
