    Doc Rivers was so scared of people thinking he’s a bad coach that he decided to keep his MVP level player in with 4 minutes left of a 30 point blow out. Thus proving, he IS a bad coach.

      It still doesn't excuse having the star in with less than 4 minutes to go and a 29 point lead. Keeping key players in during garbage time is just asking for trouble. And, no. Just because the Raptors have their key players in is no excuse. That team is desperate to make a comeback. Doc should've trusted his bench to hold down the fort. But because of his history of blowing series leads, he wanted to make sure this didn't happen here. His insecurity cost the Sixers big time.

You can make so many correct choices, and just get screwed instantly - you got 2 great players fitting along great, and you can't see them play in the 2nd round together. Just awful situation for the 76ers - feels like this franchise will not have success just like the rockets back in the day - based on bad luck... I agree, and don't give Harden the max. I'd still play Embiid in these playoffs if it ever becomes safe, because anything can happen, but I never thought they stood a chance with Doc coaching them either way. I'd say given the history of how most pro athlete's careers go, Harden most likely isn't turning back into that top 5-10 player. As the video said, he's an above average player and nothing more with the numbers he's put up the last 2 years. I like his facilitation, so I'll sign him, but only for what he's worth. Tbh, I believe Jalen Brunson is on the free agent market and wonder what it would take to get him, a young, ascending Nova product who's a playmaking, scoring guard like Harden. I have liked how Harden has elevated his teammates performances with his playmaking, despite his declining quickness and shooting woes. They should've fired Doc early in the season tbh, or better yet, not hired him at all, but GM Elton Brand is probably as stuck in the stone ages as Doc is. The team is too inconsistent with him as the coach.

    Beal is closer to last year's Kemba than this year's Harden. Embiid won't be playing at this level much longer so they need to capitalize right now. They can't afford to lose Harden.

    Doc, Harden and Daryl will now have excuse for the early exit again. Agree with the max contract. Harden knows that Daryl will give him $200 million. I feel sorry for Philly fans and organization for many years. Daryl will gut Philly again and leave. See what he did in house Houston.

    Trading away Harris for nothing is a bad idea
    Tobias Harris is our only big wing that can shoot and provide decent defense
    He maybe overpaid, but his type of players are expansive to begin with, even for so-so ones
    He is paid alot, yes, but who can replace him once he's gone?
    Niang: Too slow, can't defense, only shooting 3s oncourt
    Thybulle: Can't shoot, too short
    Green: Too old
    Korkmaz: Not a wing
    Reed: Too green, and a big
    Unless we can replace him with Covington or Harrison Barnes, sticking with him is the safer choice
    Plus there's no gurantees that trading away Harris and letting Harden walk for nothing won't upset Embiid

  • @RichFlemingRealtor

    Being a super talented player doesn't mean you're a max contract player. Certain players (e.g., Harden, Kyrie, Simmons) bring too much drama/toxicity to a team to financially tie your future to them. These guys are just to selfish to gamble your team's future on.

    Harden is nowhere near washed sure he's not near his peak where he was top 3 in MVP for 6 straight years.
    But right now he's an inconsistent player that at his best still looks top 5-10 (see games 1,2,3 6) and at his worst looks average (games 4 and 5). Overall that means he's top 10-20. Which is worth the max since all stars are underpaid relative to the free market.
    Harden should sign a CP3 type deal. The Sixers paid Tobias 5 years 180M in 2019.
    Give Harden 40M the next 3 years and 20M the 2 after that so offer: like 5 years 160M, 4 years 140M, or 3 years 120M.
    If Harden wants to win the can settle for 30M/year like CP3 did

    • @OK-yy6qz
      @OK-yy6qz 2 года назад

      I agree, taking a shot in the dark with free agency while you have the option of signing Harden is a big no-no from where im standing, just try to get him to be reasonable since he wants a ring (short term contracts may benefit both sides in this case)

  • @monkeymoo87

    Tobias Harris isn’t that bad of a contract. Also there’s a chance Embiid could get pissed off if they let Harden leave and he demands a trade.

    This video gave me an idea of what is the worst team assembled for this 2022 NBA... the idea is to make the TOXIC 10, ten toxic players, Toxic as bad radioactive Toxic, assemble the T-10 shall we:
    Five Toxic starters, 1. Center Porzingiz 2. power Fwd Zion W 3. Small Fwd Ben Simons 4. Shooting guard Harden 5. Point Guard Kyrie ... your 6. man Russ w completing the second team the lesser BUT still toxic 7.Kawhi 8.Lebron 9. KD 10. Donovan M ... let me know yours and who and how to coach them, Doc R, Nash?

    • @ethanzappelli6655
      @ethanzappelli6655 2 года назад

      When was Porzingis toxic? why are you playing Simmons at SF? Kawhi literally hasn't played, how is he toxic? and does a coach not performing well substitute toxicity?

    I really hate this for Embiid, but it is kind of karma for Doc. And a possible wasted year next year might be karma for Morey and his hubris in finding a deal for Simmons.
    (In an odd way Harden, Rivers, Morey, and Simmons would all deserve each other in some basketball hell, but i digress.😁

      @@AMHoops I mean this has been his healthiest season yet and freak accidents or somebody injuring you doesn’t make you injury prone. Getting hurt every time you touch the court like AD or Lonzo makes you injury prone. Also, that thumb was not major. It’s a pretty silly argument to make considering he didn’t miss a single game from it
