Enjoying these Paul. Superb and eclectic choices illustrating the foursome’s great range. Always loved “Barking up the right tree” single have CD single with best mixes of this and Freeway. Honeymoon with B Troop always been a favourite too.
Thanks David. Regarding the eclecticism, the fabulous foursome really handle it themselves. The ranking was just a list of songs. But When you hear them all juxtaposed together, it really does highlight what a treasure trove they’ve given us. So I appreciate your comments about the ‘range’. That is what I’m trying to get at really. Cheers
Cheers once again Paul. Never heard the 'Market Stall' before this. Good to see Barking Up the Right Tree and Easy Life in there - love them both. I thought Baron Samedi would be higher but heh ho it's all about opinions. Keep up the good work. J.
Thank you John. I actually recorded a bit about Eric and Graham deliberately (and a little self-consciously) doing a Kev and Lol on Honeymoon, but cut it for length. When Graham talks about 'compensating' for Godley and Creme on DB, it must be this song he's talking about. Well either that or 'I Bought A Flat Guitar Tutor'. Cheers
