Are you expected to attend bible study? I enjoy learning about different religions but I'm not Christian. Will that also lessen my chances of getting in?

Hi Reeci, students are required to attend a certain number of events each semester. This is for "convocation credit". The convocation requirement is meant to build the sense of community, bring fascinating and inspiring speakers to camps as well as strengthen each student's faith. While there are bible study opportunities that will give you convocation credit, there are many other events as well. Not being a Christian will not lessen your chances of getting in, in fact we welcome students from many faith backgrounds and even students that do not practice any religion. We feel this adds a level of diversity that enhances the student experience and learning opportunities. I hope you get the chance to visit in person. We have some exciting renovations and new construction projects that I wish we had when I was a student.
