That spinner treble is also deadly for lakers on jigging raps. Adds some nice action when you wind up trying to instigate a chase. We had a similar situation the other day. Tried trolling raps & spinners, pitching jigs, Ned rigs and drop shots with no bites. Started ripping a hyper rattle and caught prob 3/4’s of the fish we graphed. Nice jacket too btw!
Truly can't wait until your videos come out each week. If I can't be out on the water, they're the next best thing. And...you always share your strategies. Much appreciated! Are those Costa sunglasses?
Amazing video and one beauty of a walleye ! That's an amazing idea adding some bling to a jigging rap . Would help in deep or stained water alot as well . I'd love trying it when snap jig / trolling the jigging raps as well , the extra flash would be so good at bringing them in from a distance as well, especially in low light periods
I do a similar thing with King Salmin in Puget Sound. I believe it is the vibration and the fishes lateral line. Fish dont "hear" but they feel vibations. I am sure it feels like an anomaly (wounded fish... easy to catch).
This happened to ne today. glass water and had them on megalive. Nothing. Then around 1pm dropped a nightcrawler in 62F surface temp and the wind picked up. caught a 18 inch eye on the first drop of the jig in about 12-13 feet and then found the school!
Has anyone made a walleye fishing video regarding finding them in the dish pan prairie lakes in South Dakota? As you know these lakes seldom have much defined structure,
It’s the FIN GEAR Live Scan Pole Mount. bit.ly/FIN-GEAR-pole-mount Not cheap but it has worked GREAT and is super beefy! I had broken numerous other poles that had lots of plastic parts, so finally ponied-up for one that could withstand my abuse. I have it mounted on a Cisco Sport Trac Lund Mount (42°) so I can move it anywhere around the boat.
Brett…what is your favorite color and size. Please explain your pumping action. Saw a guy yesterday doing great with fast long pumping action in 18 foot of water. Any suggestions?
If I had to choose ONE for everything, it would be a #7 in the “glow yellow perch" color. Btw here’s a video I did with a bazillion Jigging Rap tips - sort of a rapid fire deal: ruclips.net/video/ksvvs_RIpts/видео.html
just imagine if you lived where they don't have walleye's and do NOT stock them. that's MAINE ! i'd have to drive to Vermont. I have never even caught a walleye. so i'm sad about this. -RAV
Someone made a fake Target Walleye RUclips channel and was commenting all over the place about some bogus giveaway. Have them blocked from the channel now. We do run a bunch of giveaways thru our email newsletter, but they aren't fishy like that one lol. Thx!
OMG , OMG !! That fish was Awesome!!! Love the new tip for jig rap. Tip works Awesome on crankbaits. Thanks again for The Awesome Tips!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🎣🎣👍👍
It was hectic in a really good way! Love to hear that it's been working for you!!! 🔥
Just started watching your channel. I appreciate the low key approach to instructional content

Can you do a review on your Livescope pole
Thank you giving us all the help we can get
I put i size bigger hybrid treble hooks on all my Jigging Raps 2 years ago. Doubled my strikes!!

Nicely done! I would have been sweating that net landing, too!
Thank you! Right 😅 usually only get one crack at them with Jigging Raps once the fish breaks the surface.
@@TargetWalleye Have you tried a smaller sized VMC Bladed Treble hook on #7 Rippin Rap. I think that would work for stained waters, too.

I've added the VMC Blade to several crankbaits, also. Another killer way to show them something different
No doubt!

Thanks!
Thank YOU, Philip! You didn't have to do that, but I do really appreciate it. 👊 Glad you enjoyed the video!
Where can you buy those hooks in bulk for cheaper? They are damn expensive in 2 packs at the store!
You know your phone well when you can turn it off, inside your pants pocket, while fighting a big walleye. Well done Bro.
Lol I wish I didn't know my phone so well 😅 and have to be on it so dang much. Thanks for watching, man!
what is the live mount you are using in your impact?
It’s the FIN GEAR Live Scan Pole Mount.

Just curious what mount are u using for your livescope
What size treble do you go with for size 7 or even size 5 jigging raps?
nice fish to start! oh and did anyone ever tell you that you've got great teeth? (just a weird maybe awkward for you compliment, nothing more LOL)
I don't know man we got 38 degree water Temps and catching tons
What size vmc do you recommend on Size 7 jigging rap
You could probably get by with an #8 or a #6. I lean towards the #6 for a little extra hook gap (that #7 Jigging Rap comes stock with a #7 size hook).

That’s brutal!
Come on man getting jiggy!
Na na na na na na na...getting jiggy with it! 👊
Seems all the fishusa links are do a
Got an email that you were doing a free give away. I assume it was a scam
