This is so so true! I think this is really the key to achieving pretty much everything (studying, being organized vs. messy etc) - make the desired behavior so easy that there is really no excuse not to do it. We tend to choose the path of least resistance so we can trick ourselves very effectively by making the desired behavior such as studying the path of least resistance.

What do you do when you're terribly resistant to routine? Any tips? Normally, I have no pattern. Like, litterally. I don't even go the same way every time I go to a place, even if one paths are shorter than the other. I have occasionally been known to not even eat cuz I study and don't wanna, or end up snacking all day and never get around to study. I even change out what food I like now and then. I didn't use to like seafood, now I love sushi. I used to love apples, and then one day I just woke up and didn't like them. It changes in a split second. I'm chaotic by nature. Anything I do consistantly is a constant fight, and the longer I keep a routine, the harder it becomes to keep it up.
You say that you're chaotic in nature. That means your brain strongly believes in it and hence it has become a habit to be chaotic. I think you should start making Small conscious changes to make your life organised. Take one step at a time😊

Yeah all what u've said is definitely right , but I came up with a great way to get a task (of studying) done which is : the first thing you do when you open ur eyes mean when u wake up in morning is gonna control all the rest of ur day ; if I first check my facebook or youtube or watching a vid or starting my day with blabbering with my family which is usually mum lol so yeah that day I do nothing and I can't get into my studies while if I start it with reading my chapters as u said it's definitely gonna let me continue all the day studying, it's helping me a lot ;) :D

I am sorry to hear that you must face such negativity my friend. But remember, it is you that has the power and the knowledge about your abilities. Sometimes other people speak out of jealousy or pain, and what they say is more often a reflection of THEM than it is of you...actually this is the case all the time. So don't let their words of discouragement get to you. If you see yourself as a good student and believe in yourself nothing should shake you. I will leave you with my favorite quote from the Disney movie Mulan: "No matter how hard the wind howls the mountain will not bow to it."

I am someone who are dislike study. Study is like a burden for me because its require focus & effort as i am someone who are easily lost a focus. In order for me to scor in the exam by remember notes that is related to my personal- same like the tips that you share. for eg. I love to see my own effort n love to read my own handwriting or my notes (sometimes i draw). When i was taking my degree, I've struggle to make study as something fun. I have my own study desk & study routine but it required a lot of energy. for eg. to finish 3 chapters for a test required 3 days to prepare a note. As at that time, my friends already finished study. After the 'prepare a note' process, I will explain to myself what is all about n lastly try to remember. Not to deny that the outcome was excellent but the efforts is very ridiculous. Fyi, currently I'm taking phd. I'm working part time & I don't hv time to do the notes & all. Do you mind to share anything related to phd study or a part time student as my situation now is like a part time student? Sorry if my english is not good or my sharing story distracts you. Just sharing and your videos really inspired me & thank you so much for your efforts.
How I look in certain situations throughout the day. When my bed is made, I smell nice, & my room is clean. What I feel as a man in a society full of women. Where I workout to become the fastest person. Why I am from a European background.
Yukta Dodia I love reading novels and studying my friends know that but sometimes they get tired and say I'm boring and all...I just ignore them lol Because they know that I'm like that but the thing is I don't always do it..I give my friends some time too... And they know that I'm like that so they r just use to it....but tbh if they are not helping you and stopping you from doing anythingthat'll help you in your future...then they are the negative company in ur life...they won't be there if you fail and not get in College...just do what's important...if they r actually ur friends they'll understand and won't stop u 😊

I am sorry to hear that you must face such negativity my friend. But remember, it is you that has the power and the knowledge about your abilities. Sometimes other people speak out of jealousy or pain, and what they say is more often a reflection of THEM than it is of you...actually this is the case all the time. So don't let their words of discouragement get to you. If you see yourself as a good student and believe in yourself nothing should shake you. I will leave you with my favorite quote from the Disney movie Mulan: "No matter how hard the wind howls the mountain will not bow to it."

I am someone who are dislike study. Study is like a burden for me because its require focus & effort as i am someone who are easily lost a focus. In order for me to scor in the exam by remember notes that is related to my personal- same like the tips that you share. for eg. I love to see my own effort n love to read my own handwriting or my notes (sometimes i draw).
When i was taking my degree, I've struggle to make study as something fun. I have my own study desk & study routine but it required a lot of energy. for eg. to finish 3 chapters for a test required 3 days to prepare a note. As at that time, my friends already finished study. After the 'prepare a note' process, I will explain to myself what is all about n lastly try to remember. Not to deny that the outcome was excellent but the efforts is very ridiculous.
Fyi, currently I'm taking phd. I'm working part time & I don't hv time to do the notes & all.
Do you mind to share anything related to phd study or a part time student as my situation now is like a part time student?

Yukta Dodia I love reading novels and studying my friends know that but sometimes they get tired and say I'm boring and all...I just ignore them lol Because they know that I'm like that but the thing is I don't always do it..I give my friends some time too... And they know that I'm like that so they r just use to it....but tbh if they are not helping you and stopping you from doing anythingthat'll help you in your future...then they are the negative company in ur life...they won't be there if you fail and not get in College...just do what's important...if they r actually ur friends they'll understand and won't stop u 😊

Ana Mascara oh thanks! I never really sleep long I normally sleep for 1-2hrs but sometimes when I try to sleep longer I can sleep for 4-5hrs
