    Considering the size of this coil the recovery/separation is superb, great video once again.

      Absolutely love this configuration. It’s still extremely fast on recovery and separation.
      We were shocked by the performance and the depth of this field was awesome.

    Have you used the Garrett Reaper coil? I am curious how it compare with the NEL coil.

    • @XMDUK
      @XMDUK  Год назад

      Hi thanks for watching the video, I have not had chance to run various coils and definitely find the Garrett ones are most suited. The TID remains very identical throughout the coil range. When using the third party coils the TID values seem to change. I prefer to learn on TID range and not be concerned if I change the coil from one Garrett to another Garrett coil.
      It would be good to hear your thoughts!

      Thanks for watching - when you say stock coil, there are options. Is it the Viper coil you have?
      What are you detecting mostly? Land or beach??
      Are you after coverage and depth or recovery and separation??

      @@ionutsoceanu411 Reaper coil - awesome
      Out of all the coils this is the best
      I’ve run it on ground that is trashy and still good good targets 10” on power level 4
      If you have clean conditions run power level 2 from max I get good size cartwheel penny 15/18”
      It’s amazing
      I run 20Khz when looking for coins and small relic
      Mode zero
      20Khz
      Iron Audio 4-5
      Use ground balance

    Hi my dear i want to ask you viper coil better than tornado nil or no?

    • @XMDUK
      @XMDUK  Год назад

      Hello, thank you for reaching out. Yes we have now tried a wide range of coils on the Apex and we find the Garrett coils are the preferred option.
      The Viper is the best for more challenging conditions and for small coins. The bigger coils like the Reaper and Raider are awesome on ground coverage and depth - brilliant for large silver, coin spills etc.

      Take a look at these options:-
      garrett.com/accessories/searchcoils-covers-stems-parts/14-x-11-dd-multi-flex-reapertm-searchcoil
      garrett.com/accessories/searchcoils-covers-stems-parts/85-x-11-dd-multi-flex-raidertm-searchcoil
      Both excellent but it is down to your search conditions!

    I think NEL coils for the Apex have issues in MS mode while beach detecting. I want a bigger coil but if I cant see certain silver targets due to the issues it is not for me.

    • @XMDUK
      @XMDUK  3 года назад +1

      I’ve not used it on the sand yet, it was extremely efficient on the soil as you can see.
      Have you tried one on the sand?
      If so what issues did you have?
      Just so I have an idea and will see how it can be resolved in the settings etc..
      NEL have a good reputation to have good performance coils.
      Look forward to hearing from you.

      @@XMDUK It's advertised on Regton's website listings for NEL coils for the ACE Apex. There is a 'glitch' with them with the problems I have stated. Waiting for the first party Reaper coil instead seeing that I beach detect.

      Yes, I’ve heard the new Garrett coil is really good and being original equipment should be spot on. I look forward to trying one of these.
