This is actually one of the best demos of the T128 available on RUclips. I’m considering getting one myself.

Thank you. This piano is really good for the amount I paid for it. It costs slightly more than the Yamaha U3 and less than the Yamaha YU5. I would say it's comparable to the YU5 in terms of playability

Wonderful demo. I always thought about "C. Bechstein" pianos to be out of my reach. I'm happy to know that they own the "W. Hoffmann" brand and it's the more affordable solution. The sound is very good for the price. Thank you very much for sincerely playing a piece that gave me a complete picture of its overall strengths and weaknesses. Overall it's a great piano for its worth.

I saw you tried a few instruments. Please write why you chose Hoffmann T128. I played Kawai, Yamaha and Hoffmann T128 and feel it is brilliant piano. What do you think after months of playing?

I've had it for over 2 years now, and I still really like the bell-like tone and the amount of expressions you can get out of it. The only drawback is that it is rather powerful for my small room and as a result, does not record so well in a small room. It would record much nicer in a bigger room. I also wish for a slightly brighter upper treble, but I guess it is a limitations of most upright pianos. Grand pianos seem to be much brighter in the top 1/3 of the keyboard.

@@kylow9550 Thanks for your answer. I have 15m2 room for this piano. Do you think it’s enough? 😉 What size is your smaller room?

@@kylow9550Understand, but I also think your recordings sound very good and you play many good and versatile pieces. I try to compare T122 and T128 but I hear (thanks your channel) that Hoffmann T128 is a bit closer to a grand piano. Have a great day 🙂

You can listen to my recent recordings, they don’t have the same clarity or dynamic range, due to the room size. This piano sounds better in person. Anyway I tried the shorter T122, which was a second hand. The action is remarkably similar and the tone was also pleasantly bright without being overly bright. But I was not able to achieve an acceptable dynamic range with a shorter piano, so decided to buy the T128

Hi, sometimes things happen when you move a piano or when it's put in a different environment. If it isn't getting better, worth getting the technician to take a look? I'm sure it isn't a major issue

@@dronesaddict1737 If it isn't responsive it just needs full action regulation. But if you live in a very humid environment your action will get sticky no matter what you do. Buy a dehumidifier or Dampp chaser rod.

I remember sitting on a chair lift with a lady, and we saw people jumping on a bump for free style skiing. She said, "this guy sucked", "his jump was bad", "it is not good", and then, we got off the chair, and I looked at how she skied. She could not even ski 20 feet well. But she could complain, because she had a mouth.

Dear Gustav, it's all about personal preference. So what if you've got Kawai K800? Try playing some songs on your Kawai K800 and show it to us if you think your choice is so special. I have met some people who are loyal supporters of Kawai but constantly criticize other people who choose W Hoffmann, Yamaha, Seiler, Kayserburg or other piano brands without offering a simple, convincing explanation of why they think other brands are bad. Ridiculously childish.
Oh and just to let you know, I own a Kohler and Campbell piano that others considered as "junk". I came from a poor family and this is the budget piano I could afford so far. It has served me well for 25 years and still going strong.
