Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!! I stopped using a flat iron 3-4 times a week on my pixie a year ago and I noticed a HUGE difference..healthier looking and fuller hair. I only use it once a week on wash days and I started using satin covered rollers at night for curls. The only problem with them is if I lay a certain way I can feel a little tension or pulling of the hair at the root from the rollers. I'm sure over time that was going to turn out bad so I stopped sleeping in them and would get up early enough to put the rollers in for a couple of hours to get curls. After seeing this vid...I decided to go for the pin curls and I must say they are MUCH easier to sleep in, I don't have to worry about slowly pulling out my hair, and I have pretty curls!😁 My hair is cut exactly like yours and this vid is beyond what I needed.
Leann, thank you! That was *so* helpful. I just got a relaxed pixie from natural hair and had no idea you could keep a style from your flatiron for up to 2wks. This night routine video was clutch.
My hair ends up a bit messy when I try to pin curl😢. I know it's not good however, I bump my hair on low heat with heat protection every day for work except weekends to get the va va voom in my hair😀 Your new short cut looks fantastic on you. I'm in the middle of grown my out now. I fancy a long bob.
Yea 😣 I try and stay away from the heat, because when I start using it every day, my hair starts to break from the heat.... try doing the pin curls in smaller sections...I remember my Bob days too 🤣❤❤
Leann I have a question I just recently went back to perm after being natural for 12 years I’m happy I did. But I’m having issues keeping my pixie cut lying down do I have to train it because I’m using all the good stuff to keep it in check niroibi silk scarf wrapping at night and so on I think Maybe it’s the color which I put in 3 months ago blonde I’m going back black it looks sleeker to me. But yes I think it needs to be trained to lye down. You hair is everything. ❤️🌹😊
Thank you 😊...Yea, you would have to train it since you've been natural for a while....When I cut mines really short that I can't do the pin curls, I would tie it down with a wave cap 🤣 ...I love to see ladies with the blonde color, but I'm terrified to ever do it...that color can be a lot of maintenance...Yess!!! It's just something about the black that just makes it look so 💣🔥🤣...I like to use the coconut oil to keep it moisturized/silky whenever it's dry....it doesn't weigh it down either

Aww... happy to know that the video was a great help to you 😊❤❤
THANK YOU! I was like surely yall arent using heat DAILY for these betty boop curls?! The pin curls makes so much sense!
I had a pixie for almost 2 years and never thought about using pins to save the style. This is genius thank you sis
Hey guys! So what I've learned with this cut is Pin Curl @ night = pixie with volume .... No Pin Curls @ night = flat/sleek pixie 😊 -xoxo
Your hair looks nice, full and healthy. The cut is awesome

You are welcome. Yes this style can last two weeks....the styles with curls, tend to last just a week, but I save those for special occasions ❤️❤️
Love watching the video!!!
Thanks for watching love! ❤️
Love your videos. How often do you relax your hair and which one do you use?
Thanks love ❤ I relax every 8 weeks and I use the Nairobi Sensitive Scalp Relaxer
Beautiful!
What is that black wrap thing YOU use to lay your edges? My hair isn't trained...sadly!
It's a mesh wrap...I bought it from Sallys a while back.
She in love with the co-co 😂 cute style.💞

When are you going to buy the small flat iron, dieing to see which one you're going to use, by the way love the hair.

Do you go to a professional to get your hair cut? Your styles look so professional.
Yes. I go every 8wks to get a relaxer, cut and color...then I wash and style it myself until I'm ready to go back to get a relaxer again.
