I would say that this was right when the Animation Renaissance (and Disney's Renaissance) was getting into gear as they would work on the Ink and Paint job on The Little Mermaid and would later work on several movies like Rescuers Down Under, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Lion King, Pocahontas, Hunchback of Notre Dame and Hercules. This also included short cartoons like Roller Coaster Rabbit, The Prince and the Pauper, Off His Rockers, Trail Mix Up and Runaway Brain. Then the Florida animation studio did the unthinkable; making a full length animated motion picture all on their own with Mulan!

The Little Mermaid, Roller Coaster Rabbit & The Prince & The Pauper were done in traditional cel animation, the rest of the films & shorts afterwards used the CAPS software.
