Man sells drugs to stay out of crippling debt. Man goes to prison for selling drugs. TOYZ PUT IN PRISON BY HKE. HKE VILLAINS.
Toyz also had a "Jake Paul-esque" celebrity boxing match with his HKE boss (Derek Cheung) before his jail time. He lost the fight (as the boss is actually an experienced amateur boxer) so it's a dark timeline where the villain dominated him lol.
Just for fun they had a reserve player for worlds who is a girl (who doubled as their team manager). So I think she is still the only female worlds winner lol.
It ain't "for fun", Garena had already been hosting sanctioned tourneys for CS1.6 and Crossfire way before they got publishing rights of League of Legends. Garena tourney follows ESL rules so when Garena formed GPL, they made substitute a requirement. TPA was forced to have a substitute so they just filed their own manager since they know their lineup is fixed and won't be using a sub. LoL World Championship didn't require a substitute until Riot decide to completely run esports on their own, thus LCS and other pro leagues were formed at the start of 2013(Season 3) and S3 World Championship was the first Worlds tournament to finally require a sub.

Riot clearly missed the opportunity to reclaim League of Legends SEA from Garena right before COVID. MOBA games are among the most popular in the region, and many Mobile Legends pros actually started with League of Legends, playing in tournaments at local internet cafes. The reason they switched to Mobile Legends is that it focused on the SEA region, which boosted player counts as many who had played League transitioned to mobile MOBA.

Not sure why being instructed to lose a game is an issue. As long as it was decided within your team and does not involve another team colluding or gambling, it's perfectly normal. It happens even in regular sports. It's just a strategic move.
