I'm going to do Training level again. I did it in 2020, and then was overly ambitious going for First 2 and 3 at rated shows. Tooo ambitious. So it's not a race. I want to do my horse justice, and do Training Level super well. THANK YOU FOR THESE WONDERFUL VIDEOS!
So awesome how they incorporate new technologies every few seasons, to keep the competition above standards. The drones usage will continue to grow throughout different professional competition communities. Adaptation matters.
Thank you! This was SO helpful, and, yes, the drone footage was a great help. Thanks for talking through your thinking as you ride each part of the test. It makes me feel confident that I can do this.
As someone who isn’t able to ride with a trainer consistently thank you so much for your videos 🤍 they are so helpful and encouraging and I so appreciate them!
This was incredibly helpful and informative! Awesome idea for the overhead view as well!!! Casper and I are going to show and we have done test 1 of training level...now for test 3! Thank you for this insightful video! Absolutely loved it! Katharine Newman

Thank you Amelia! I am planning to move up to First Level this year, but may still do some Training Level tests as "warm ups". I love your explanations of each movement and what the judges are looking for. The drone footage is extremely helpful in visualizing the accuracy. Looking forward to seeing more tests!

I have a great Groundwork Masterclass coming in January - that's a god place to start!
Maybe by this Fall
First Level Test 3 - 2023 PLEEEEEASE MAKE A VIDEO OF IT!!!)))
I'm struggling with the single loop on the canter ((((

Yes, I’m new and need help!
Check out some of the other videos on my channel!
What are some tips to memorizing the pattern?
Try walking the test or having someone read it to you as you ride! You can always have a caller at the show too!
On the shallow loop, when you change your bend, should you change your post?
Yes!
Where can I see all the courses you offer? Thanks
Here! dressage-training-progress.teachable.com/
hello! you don't change seat in the shallow loop serpentine?
Hi! Both are correct - up to you!
WTF apparently when I went to download 2023 it gave me 2019
It's a bit of an optical illusion on the USDF website, you have to scroll down to get the 2023 tests :)
Loved the drone perspective, really helps!
