- So I recently said goodbye to my cankles and got liposuction in my legs and arms to treat my Lipedema
Lipoedema is a genetic condition that causes a buildup of diseased fat-plastic surgery was the only option but I'm more than happy with the before vs after- thanks to Dr. Wolf

It made me emotional watching this, I’ve been waiting for this video as I know I have this too. I hope one day I can afford to have this surgery, personally I can’t even look at mine or wear anything that shows my legs, I don’t even think other people with it look bad but I hate it so much 😞 I’m so happy that you was able to get it please could you keep us updated with your journey

I truly believe you attract the energy you give yourself however no one should put up with negativity even if just banter, boundaries are healthy and if someone can’t tell there friends enough is enough that’s sad. However she may be most likely perfectly fine with it, everyone’s vibe and tolerance differs I just wish everyone good energy always! ❤ I just want to give her a hug and let her feel her emotions and validate her.

I think I might have this. Trained 6 days a week for 3 years. Saw absolutely no change 😢

Quite sad to watch- you have surgery then after being told to take it easy you do the complete opposite - selfridges etc -need time listen to docs - other girls could follow suit and may experience complications

I am now convinced I have this. Been weightlifting 2 years and my upper body is so defined but my legs still look like tree trunks. Will a GP pick this up or do you need to see a specialist?

i was born with no calf muscle in my right leg im 28 and it was only since 2017 i knew about it ,
i always had stick for legs haha but never noticed more until everyone pointed it out that i was always walking with a limp but for me that was normal , i always trip over thin air too ect ,
i used to go to the gym everyday to work on my legs then went to5 different hospitals none could help , and said nothing could be done and in a few years if my walking was to get worse i could get an op on my ankle ... but i'm disabled im used to this so why change it ,
i don't. have good circulation and struggled when i recently had my son but i couldn't deal with an op haha

No one ever talks about the fact that for private surgeries sometimes you have to actually walk into the theatre yourself. It’s so scary and you never think that’d be the case until a nurse just asks you to walk in with them and lies you down. Now I think about it you can’t actually prepare yourself for that either because you have no idea what it’ll look like in the theatre.
Personally I saw the whole team of nurses and surgeons that did my op and it was so scary how many people where in the room whilst I was under. Scariest part of it all in my opinion is actually having to walk into the room
