You have to get their jokes to get their music. They may be funny and not serious but realistically they are actually really really talented. They are seriously an awesome band. And one of my favorites!
So what's the real reason why Lexi left? And don't tell me it was to start that animal thing if that was so then why is it that Michael is the only one that talks to him since he left. As far as I know the other band members havent spoken to him. I was just curious why what happened that the others wont speak to him even though they have nothing but nice things to say? Sounds like they are covering for something.
@@christophercrosby731 seems to me like he just wasn’t getting paid enough. From what I can glean from various interviews, he didn’t write anything or even play much in the studio, so he got next to nothing from CD sales and streaming. As such, he was the only one whose sole income from SP was the live shows. Seems unfair, depending on how you look at it, so that’s probably why.
@@HawkSlam if you listen to their albums you really dont hear much from a bass guitar you mainly hear the lead guitar and the drums. You know that just don't seem far why have. Bassist if you cant hear him. And he never had got any solo play like on some songs like other bassist get when the are playing a song. So yeah I can see why he moved on now they was treating him like chit or a certain someone was jealous cause he was so pretty and taking all the ladies from them.
Good to see these guys Joke even when working, they aren't just an act. You HAVE to be a child at heart to make a career out of goofing off, yet playing seriously talented music!
I love watching bands in the studio, and watching Steel Panther in the studio is like, six million times better. I literally wish I could quit my job and school, and just hang out with these guys all the time.
They drop so much shit on Lexxi, I fee so sad for the guy haha. At the same time i'm amazed how they're able to go and shit on their band mates, making sound it true and spontaneous (well it remains spontaneous in the end) and all when it's just an act. I don't know how to explain my feeling ... Btw, it seems that, we guys, the more we watch Steel Panther and Panthers' interviews, the more we secretly find Lexxi sexy :P ! that's fuckin' weird man xD

everybody who thinks lexxi doesnt play the bass was never played the bass and by sight i can tell this melody that he was playing right now is really easy and his fingers are really fast in changing shapes for chords and that melody he just played is basicly just 5 tones. So my advice: shut the fuck up and before you going to act like you know everything just sit there watch it and first try to study it a litlle or try it at all
i heard the release date will be in this september. but thats was not official announcement. so, maybe the date can change. well, lets wait and see. :)

I was always told and always saw that the drums were the first thing to be recorded so the guitar players could keep in time. In other words, these guys are very good musicians! Why? Because they are actually recording to a clicker, a metronome! Most players, especially today's, cannot play let alone record using a clicker, I use one and am still trying to get used to it, it can be very annoying lol. I'd rather be listening to the drums to keep time rather than that annoying, click, click, click, click, click ,click. Despite their pretense of being just a bunch of goof balls, these guys are all very talented!
At the VERY end the old man in a red-ish t-shirt is PICKING HIS NOSE SO HARD! HE even examines it a few times, very lovely. Wel,l he can't get the crap off his fingers; he swings his hands many times, then finally wipes his finger on a avocado and starts in on the other nostril!
