Amyl & The Sniffers- ‘Guided by Angels’-Underworld; London-Dec.5, 2019 Thurs.

A curious crowd had come to witness the buzz that had surrounded this 4 piece from Melbourne.
What they didn’t expect was the emerging firecracker that was their singer, Amy Taylor.
She gradually ‘wowed’ the packed Camden crowd with her raw rapid fire delivery which at first seemed like a spiel of vitriol but was more reminiscent of a beatnik diatribe.
So obviously there’s a poetic brain surfacing beneath the explosive delivery.
As I finally present this to the world now, 4 and one half years later, I note that they are playing Three(!) nights at the huge and expansive Roundhouse down the road.
The burning tumbleweed has caught the entire desert on fire and now we are all aflame in appreciation and apprehension of their next move.
