+promodelred some people underestimate the difference 500 pounds make on similar cars. Coupe would have been maybe 2 car lengths before the 550 hit its 155 limiter
I have driven both and yeah the 550i has great torque and I think (stock to stock) it would be pretty close in a street race if the 550i were a 2014 or newer because they were given a power bump then... But the E92 M3 is faster without a doubt. And btw the 500 lb difference is HUGE in this car the convertible actually feels slow when you drive it

It's a convertible... So E93 M3.. Weighs 500 lbs more than a coupe. So good race
yes but if the turbocharged 550i gets a remap, even the coupe thosent stand a chance
