The second week of biking in Croatia makes me change my first impression I made about it (which was not that great). You can check how that went here, in my previous video ruclips.net/video/R7HO1SWbuy8/видео.html
Making these videos next to having a job which finances my adventures is something I cannot sustain for long, therefore I set for this channel a goal and reaching this goal will allow me to partly fund my adventures through the videos that I produce. And this goal is reaching 5000 subscribers by the end of the year! I know it is very ambitious, but if you enjoy my videos even a bit, I would appreciate if you would hit that button. It costs you nothing but it means a lot to me! 🙏
Besides this, as a suggestion from one of you, I setup a patreon page where I am offering some exclusive insights and content and it is another way in which you can support me. 😊

Really love the water colour! It must be so inviting to always see it while riding in a hot day

It is very inviting although sometimes also difficult to see the cool blue, during a day where you don't have time to stop for a swim 😅☺

    How about cycling across Korcula?

I was actually thinking wether following the coast on mainland or through the different islands. If I would do it again I think I would prefer the islands, including Korcula. 😊

@@UntraveledRoadsOfficial Keep in mind that a lot of these islands are narrow and long and usually only have one main road that is packed with tourists in peak season. Not a very bike friendly environment.

Yeah, just a few weeks in and I hear you talk about sending and receiving packages several times. Once in a while may be ok, but it's a pain, the goal must be to be self sufficient and source as much as possible locally. I'm no mountaineer so not really in the picture what the degree of difficulty and required gear is. In my perception plenty are walkable or even drivable. I may be biased though as the closest three country high points (Benelux) can be done in a single day on bicycle. Those peaks that require gear, maybe renting locally may be cheaper and be easier than renting a B&B for several days.
With respect to budget, I suspect starting a Patreon now is (too) early, it takes extra work to provide benefits, while with the limited following you have unlikely to pay off. You're likely better off with donate buttons from Paypal or Kofi. Only by the time you've proof people are willing to support you financially I would start considering Patreon. But that's of course just my €0.02 worth.

Hey, thanks for your comment! I think retrospective looking I underestimated the effort of preparing for the mountains while on the bike. Peaks like in Hungary were fairly easy and require no gear, for mountains like Triglav in Slovenia for the summit I wanted to make I would have needed all climbing equipment, also some summits in Balkans would require at least boots, mountain trousers and a backpack. So nothing I could - or weight-wise want to 😂 - carry in addition on my bike, renting is possible for some types of equipment but if you, for example, rent boots that you are not used to - after a 50 - 60km hike you will be all over with blisters 😬😂 For combining the bike tour with the peaks I think a destination like Benelux or and Denmark would have been more sensible. Nevertheless, it is what it is, the good thing about mountains is they don't run away 😊 At the end of the day, the bike tour is already challenging and focusing solely on this is rewarding enough, especially being able to be as self-sufficient as possible without the need to organise and wait for packages.
Thank you also for the input with Patreon, I think I will experiment with both to see how the result will be, but I think your arguments especially by having only a small audience make sense.
