This song hs a special place in my heart. It’s the song I play when I miss my grandfather. He died of stage 4 lung cancer but I stood by his side the whole time. He wasn’t the best father at all, honestly he was a spitting image of Frank Gallagher from Shameless, but he was still my grandpa and I love him to the moon and back. He never hurt me like everyone said he would. I just remember the laughs and the love, I was his first grandchild
Kat F -Ok? So literally every normal human is a geek then?- Oops, sorry guys. A certified bruh moment for me because I didn't know it's from "Applause".
The fact that this video is actually incomplete and she had to direct it herself because the original director left for creative differences makes it even more special. Like, look how it’s raw with minimum effects with the actual pink lights and smokes really make it aesthetic.
I feel like the same could be said for the song itself. I feel like it's one of the more minimalistic songs she's done and for that is my favorite by her. I'm not a huge fan of her usual super big with tons of to me seemingly random stuff going on. This is clean, tight, sharp.
Also he was quite ill in this video, that’s why he was seated for the whole video. He passed away shortly after. Edit: He actually died one day after this video was posted on RUclips
She dances and crawls alone for 5 minutes straight and she is still able to entertain us. I call that iconic and a real artist with real talent. Period

If it wasn't for Clarence Clemons...like many Springsteen songs...they would never be. He was the soul of both their works. I like this tune...even if overly commercial with GaGa's over the top getup...needed this to help establish her and be talked about...respect her more in A Star Is Born. No make-up (or next to none)...she just sang!! She can carry a tune. But she'll never be "the next Whitney Houston" or Glennis Grace.
I have big respect for Lady Gaga for highlighting the saxophone player in this video. Just in case some of you don't know, the sax player is Clarence Anicholas Clemons Jr., also known as The Big Man. He was a member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. This was the last collaboration he recorded and he suffered a major stroke days after filming this music video. He even played it live for the last time in Gaga's American Idol performance of this song despite being terminally ill, and he died two weeks after that particular performance.
"..and last but not least…. do I have to say his name ?…. do I have to speak the words ?…..do I have to say his name ?…. I'm talking about the king of the world…..the master of disaster…. the emperor of all things, big and small …. he´s faster than a speeding bullet…. more powerful than a roaring locomotive…. able to leap tall buildings in a single bound…. I ain't talking ´bout no plane…. I ain't talking ´bout no train …. I ain't talking about a bird, I´m talking ´bout this majesty, the Big Man, Clarence Clemons on the saxophone….." - Bruce, Stockholm, Sweden, July 5, 1981 (and some variation on all the other shows)
A large part of Lady Gaga's well-deserved success is her choice of fellow musicians. Being a classically trained musician does make a difference! The sax in this song is absolutely among the best.
The saxophonist in this video is none other than Clarence Clemons, the long-time saxophonist for Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. Clarence Clemons, who improvised the sax solo in this track, passed away less than a month after filming this video.

Looking back into those years when ppl think Gaga's style is weird then 9 years later graphic liner, bleached brows and chains is a whole aesthetic now
Don’t ever forget lady gaga was a baby for like her first 3 albums. And despite her being 36 now, no one can deny she is still young for being so established as a world famous artist.
@Art Garfunkle Madonna was young too when she was out… I don’t think she hates lady gaga but madonna was very over sexualized and it’s kind of sad what madonna went through. She had great songs for her era tho and sold many many albums. Today she doesn’t have many streams but in her era her album sales were thru the roof, More then her streams today. Madonna inspired lady gaga and madonna as she got older became a philanthropist. She adopted children of all different races and she still performs and drops music. The only bad thing about madonna is her surgeries.
I remember playing this for my late husband shortly before he passed away. He commented, "She wants to be another Madonna, doesn't she?". I said, "Dragon, this was a song she wrote commemorating the love between her grandparents. That's the kind of love I have for you". With tears in his eyes, he got very silent and held my hand. Requiem en pace my darling dragon. This upcoming Thursday, 10/29/2020, marks seven years since you flew away to your new home in the night skies with the moon and stars as your constant companions. I shall always love you and will think of our time together fondly. Until we meet again my first love 💕🐉💕
She wrote this song to honour her grandad when he passed away! When asked why she said I wanted to remember how he lived his life... love Lady Gaga 😍😍😍
theres people saying that this song is about her grandfathers death, its not. its that look he gave his wife (grandma) while he was about to die, it was like "ive done it, ive reached a beautiful life and im dying happy", a face of relief. its the feeling of living life on the edge of glory, and finding the most beautiful moments of life and realizing you have won at life. and i find that to be beautiful
rewatching gaga's videos never feel old, because she's so ahead of her time. this MV looks like it could've just been released last month and it'd fit right into the modern aesthetics.
This song lifted me up so much. I was in a creek wondering what would happen to me next in a trailer park. I would dance to this song in my cul-de-sac circle. Hot summers or Rainy weather. She literally keeps me going and it's June 29th 2024, I'm 32 years old now and can't wait for this next era she brings me. She doesn't even know how people like her keep people like me or us alive. She is so amazing as a person and just everything she does. I'm so blessed to be here in a time where I'm just a giant fan of hers. She really has built me, she really is mother monster and I will always remember her for everything.
Gaga is a genius, one of a kind. Her determination to share her art despite being put down in school is a blessing. Her Super Bowl performance was one of the best ever.
let's be honest gaga saved the music industry with songs like this. People with a good taste in music will always come back to those songs. My opinion.
@@PeazfuL_ I'm aware this is a 4 year old comment that I'm replying to but oh well. You're not wrong though. There is still some occasional pieces of music released these days that are alright, but the majority of stuff that gets airtime these days don't really hold a candle to the stuff that was popular around 10 years ago. 2015-2016 is really when the style shifted to something that I don't really care for anymore.
@@haed6213 well the purpose of born this way in general is to bring inclusiveness to the minorities. making them equally important in the mainstream. so i think its good in both ways that it is a song about celebrating equality. whats so important about gays is because of that purpose
@@muratguler6592 your answer was so inclusive, I say it because there are some gay little monsters thinking that there are no straight monsters, so thanks!, BTW:straight and christian ally here! :D.
This song and video were saxophonist Clarence Clemons final appearance before his death. How fitting, considering the song is about celebrating a glorious life and being unafraid of reaching the end of it. There’s something so chilling and great about how it’s just Gaga and Clarence in the video in the New York City set. And of course Gaga decked out in Versace, the dream of any NYC Italian immigrant family girl. Epic video.
I'm so glad to see a post about this great man. I would love to know what went through his mind seeing Gaga wriggling about like that. I'm a Springsteen fan and always liked this big jolly fella, great musician and a huge loss. R.I.P Clarence.
Clarence Clemons was a big impact of my adoration of Bruce Springsteen and The E-Street Band.Yes,unfortunately this was his swan song in a music video so Lady Gaga can be proud.Actually lining Clarence up in this song made me a fan of Gaga.Respect to her for bringing such a talent as the big boy in music. She shows how talented she is by picking such a good man on the sax which makes a good song brilliant. A big fan from Iceland:)
I had no friend when I found this song. I was an elementary school student. It's impossible that I could understand what she is singing because I'm not a native english speaker, but somehow I understood the meaning of this song and the power of Lady Gaga. I listened to this song every single day. Now, I'm 18 and still like this song.
人未来 Same I was young and innocent at that time. When I started middle school in 2011 I started getting picked on in all my 3 years in middle school! Since I graduated from high school, I’m going to be a better person than my past life!
This song was about Lady Gaga's grandfather. The edge of glory was the moment he died. “The song was about how when my grandma was standing over my grandfather while he was dying. There was this moment where I felt like he had sort of looked at her and reckoned that he had won in life. Like, ‘I’m a champion. We won. Our love made us a winner.’ They were married 60 years. I thought about that idea, that the glorious moment of your life is when you decide that it’s okay to go, you don’t have any more words to say, more business, more mountains to climb. You’re on the cliff, you tip your hat to yourself and you go. That’s what it was for me in that moment when I witnessed it.” -Gaga talking to Jon Pareles of The New York Times about the song
Throwback in 2011 when this queen dropped this masterpiece on my birthday. I remember coming back home from school and rushing to listen to it for the first time. My little gay heart will never forget 🥺 Happy birthday to me & this song
Omg I got the Bad Romance video on my 17th birthday, I feel like there should be a group for those of us lucky enough to have gotten Gaga video release birthdays for we are extremely powerful people today
technically, this is still ahead of its time. the concept of licking a NYC sidewalk from a position of prayer would meet hard resistance if someone attempted to publish it 2020+, and in 2024+ the idea of someone dancing *between* a red window and blue window (or existing *between* life and choice, for that matter) would be abhorrent. I think at the time of actual publication, there was an issue with using the fire escape as a set. In each era you will receive resistance to your brilliance; either pick your battles or blow them away with something undeniably powerful.
I gained even more respect for Gaga when I learned that one of her earliest inspirations for music was none other than Bruce Springsteen's Born To Run record, she talked about how magical that opening piano sounded at the beginning and how cinematic and dramatic great music could be. And the fact that she takes her name from a song by Queen! This girl knows her stuff, and is taking all the best of the great music of the past and synthesizing it into her own brand of powerful, high energy music. Now she's acting and winning oscars and Grammys! This is no flash in the pan one trick pony pop star here, folks, this woman is a sensation and one can only hope she'll be doing what she does for a long time!

9 years ago today, Lady Gaga released "The Edge of Glory" as a promotional single from “Born This Way”. The song is 4x platinum in the US, sold 8 MILLION units worldwide and peaked at #3 on the Hot 100.
Heaven saved me by sending that crow who's wings grazed my cheak. Caused my head to turn. Saw a crack in the cliff for a finger lock grip. One of many miracles that have happened in my life. This is the wisdom of it. Amen🙏 if it wasn't for the grace of god. This vessel that i am dwelling in would have perished. This also is the wisdom of it. Praise god. Amen 🙏
I was 16 when this song came out and i feel like its the epitomy of my teen years, driving a car for the first time with the windows down, blasting this song.
I think majority of people have come to these songs out of nostalgia. Life will always be much better when you are younger, full of excitement to achieve etc.

i wonder if she really knows the ENTIRE generation of LGBT people she singlehandedly *saved* with this album like if you were a young LGBT teen living in 2010/2011 you know that shit was hard, i feel like we all can agree on that. We still had zero to NO visibility on the media, the suicide and homicide cases were astounding. Gaga bought these issues to the mainstream, taking these glorious lyrics from the title track banging on radios across the world, on TV with live performances. Today it's definitely come such a long way and yet we are a little behind the middle of it. BTW was truly the definition of a cultural reset.
My parents once found my diary where I wrote that Gaga made me accept myself for who I am and they then got mad at me for saying that. Deep down I still believe it’s true ❤️.

I'm a rock fan, and I know how we can have prejudice about this kind of music. But I was told that Lady Gaga have talent, so I started to listen some of her songs. And I must say: indeed she has talent. But this song... that's her best song in my opinion. It's in my top 10 pop songs of all time. It's such a powerful song. And that's her best video also. She's sexier than ever. And yet, she looks so confident, like she's in control of everything. The edge of glory really belongs to her. As far as I know she worked hard to reach it, and I'm really proud of her. Gaga just earned another fan.
Mateus Matzenbacher i'm thinking just like you. I'm a rock fan too but Lady Gaga has amazing songs and i love her Sorry, i'm from Poland so my English can be bad
The Sound engineering that has gone into this, the production design, the art design, the cinematography, the editing, the costume, hair & make-up design, the Direction & Lady's voice!!!! Am I alone here???
This song actually just came on random on my I tunes , not going to lie , I cried ! I miss my mum , dad and brother very much xxxx even though your dead your always here in me ❤❤❤ . This song really should have been no 1. It’s classic before it’s time xx

d_last_dinosaur I had a tuff time in grade school I had over 100 Irish Freckels on my face. I looked like I was Baking in the sun for 8 hours. Funny a teacher said she give 1 dollar if I could count all my Freckels. I played a joke with her I said I counted 500 Freckels. Kids were calling me Freckel Face. I guess us IRISH are different born with Red Hair & Freckels & thinking all IRISH are DRUNKS. I was a 70s kid you know Brady Bunch Partridge Family. Went to a lot of 70s Concerts. My RED HAIR sister was obsessed with those Long Hair Rock Stars. She never Married, hoping it wasn't cause of her Red Hair. IRISH GIRL REDHEADS ARE BADASS. @@jimogrady1131 Red hair is amazing, literally, a black haired Italian here. I really like them. When I hear these stories I can't help but thinking how stupid and ignorant people can be. back to the old gaga days? people she's not 25 anymore. a person grows and matures as they get older, and it shows in their music and art. gaga has gotten better with her music in a sense of honesty about herself.
Gagas age has nothing to do with how bad joanne is. Joanne is bad because she gave in to what the critics and mainstream wanted. A grounded and generic gaga. What happened " To crash the critic saying is it right or is it wrong" or "Judas is me in defense or wear ear condom next time" She was original and a travesty. And we loved her because of that. Now shes just what everyone wanted. And its sad.
gdsmzroll 1st. it's "Judas kiss me if offensed or wear a ear condom next time" 2nd. she even said it herself that it's hard for some fans to transition from the last album era, like yourself. she even said that she's 30 now, and this is what she wants to do. pre-joanne was what everyone expected and wanted. the joanne era is gaga being Stefani
Honestly, no. ARTPOP was Gaga trying to mold her music to (what she thought) the mainstream wanted. Go listen to "Blueberry Kisses", then listen to "Just Another Day". JOANNE is Gaga stripped of the cruft.
A lot of these comments are saying how this is one of her most "underrated hits" when in fact it isn't? It respectfully peaked at #3 on the billboard hot 100 and it was a HUGE summer smash hit! but yet again some people who are just finding this Gaga song were probably too young to remember the hype and buzz around this beautiful song. Gaga created many timeless hits but this one is by far her absolute best! Long Live Mother Monster
@@Hurricanetongue any Gaga song from the era saw a billboard spot in the top 3 for at least a week or two. Smash hit, no. On the top of music for a brief while, absolutely.
Yes i do rmb it being played everywhere at one point but I think it’s bc it wasn’t talked about enough today in communities and Discussions relevant to her list of hits. You hear “bad romance” and “ born this way” more than this being claimed to be her representivie hit song. But I do agree this is one aspect of Gaga we don’t talk about enough is that she celebrates life in unusual ways and finds a way to show it into her art. This song is abt her celebrating her Grandfathers passing. She sees it as celebrating how brilliant and glory his life was instead of how sad it was when he passed which I think it’s pretty inspirational and iconic for a song’s meaning.
Clarence Clemons, the saxophone player in the music video, saw this video for the first time on the same day that he passed away. He was literally on the edge of glory when he watched this.
RIP Clarence Clemons. E Street Band member playing the saxophone 🎷 died soon after this recording. This was his last performance. Wish this comment would be the top comment to remember him. 😢🙏.

+Arista Starborne i like to remind myself that our loved ones that have passed away, whether its a person or an animal, havent "passed away". even though we cant see them through our eyes, we see them through our hearts. we feel them. because they dont die until we die. just remember that when you start feeling sad that he's not there physically. i wish the best of luck, thank you for sharing your comment. we all go through hard times
Obsessively rediscovering Gaga after so many years, remember this video vividly when I was 11 years old but would never have realised that this song, album, (her!) would be so significant and have such longevity. Absolutely the most influential artist of this century so far
You don't have to care about what people say. Just ignore them and live your life happily doing what you like. I've been bullied too, but now fortunately I'm feeling better and I'm okay. Wish you the best
@@alexanderkvitrovn9828 she’s also highly associated with the lgbtq+ community and many cishet people find her too dramatic or weird. I was also always teased for liking her for these reasons. If you say you like Lady Gaga you’re practically opening yourself up for homophobic abuse which is honestly awful. So yes she is one of the biggest pop icons but many non-queer people don’t see her as such ❤️
It's only good if you love gaga or 80s music (which this is trying to emulate). Otherwise it just sounds weird which is why it didn't get much play on the radio. But I will also agree that this is my favorite song she's done.
10 years ago, this song just came out. I was 16, dancing with my girlfriend in England, during a midsummer night around the end of summer camp, singing it along together. This song reminds me of one of the best times of my life, and all the good that I had and that came with it around this period. I will always cherish this particular memory which that song brings back. It's not like I had any feeling left for that girl or whatever, except some friendly affection, but, somehow, it just feels magical and like the first time every single time I hear this song... Great job, Lady Gaga, great job.
When asked why she wrote such an upbeat song for her grandfathers death she replied with “ because his life was glorious “ I die I love her mind man
omg... she is so precious 😭
Why do I love this woman so mhch
This is the only comment in this whole thread not about Ru-paul lmao.
Also, 🌠The more you know🌈
Omg that is so cute. And there's still people who thinks that she wrote it as a sexual way because she's "sexually obsessed"
That’s a Lady Gaga moment I think about a lot! She’s iconic. 😍
Man this era was truly, in my honest opinion, her best.
You’re right. No debate whatsoever.

May he rest in peace 😌

The fact that this video is actually incomplete and she had to direct it herself because the original director left for creative differences makes it even more special. Like, look how it’s raw with minimum effects with the actual pink lights and smokes really make it aesthetic.
She did a lot with a little
The camera quality is so good to it looks like something that would come out today
I feel like the same could be said for the song itself. I feel like it's one of the more minimalistic songs she's done and for that is my favorite by her. I'm not a huge fan of her usual super big with tons of to me seemingly random stuff going on. This is clean, tight, sharp.
Wah?
That's why I'm thinking that the mv is a bit different from the most of the others.
But good different
I just wanna give a round of aplause to the legend Clarence Clemons, for one of the greatest sax solos in any pop song from the past 2 decades.
It's honestly up there with Secret Garden, Bobby Jean, Thunder Road and Jungleland. It's definitely in his top 30 best sax solos in my opinion.
Also he was quite ill in this video, that’s why he was seated for the whole video. He passed away shortly after.
Edit: He actually died one day after this video was posted on RUclips

If it wasn't for Clarence Clemons...like many Springsteen songs...they would never be. He was the soul of both their works.
I like this tune...even if overly commercial with GaGa's over the top getup...needed this to help establish her and be talked about...respect her more in A Star Is Born. No make-up (or next to none)...she just sang!! She can carry a tune. But she'll never be "the next Whitney Houston" or Glennis Grace.
the variety of instruments is what makes this song so special

I ain't talking about a bird, I´m talking ´bout this majesty, the Big Man, Clarence Clemons on the saxophone….." - Bruce, Stockholm, Sweden, July 5, 1981 (and some variation on all the other shows)
Good on u for that 🎉
BIG C
A large part of Lady Gaga's well-deserved success is her choice of fellow musicians.
Being a classically trained musician does make a difference! The sax in this song is absolutely among the best.
The saxophonist in this video is none other than Clarence Clemons, the long-time saxophonist for Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. Clarence Clemons, who improvised the sax solo in this track, passed away less than a month after filming this video.

The only bad thing about madonna is her surgeries.

theres people saying that this song is about her grandfathers death, its not. its that look he gave his wife (grandma) while he was about to die, it was like "ive done it, ive reached a beautiful life and im dying happy", a face of relief. its the feeling of living life on the edge of glory, and finding the most beautiful moments of life and realizing you have won at life. and i find that to be beautiful

You're not wrong though. There is still some occasional pieces of music released these days that are alright, but the majority of stuff that gets airtime these days don't really hold a candle to the stuff that was popular around 10 years ago. 2015-2016 is really when the style shifted to something that I don't really care for anymore.

That’s what it was for me in that moment when I witnessed it.”

It looks filmed this year becausd of the empty streets and halls 🤣
technically, this is still ahead of its time. the concept of licking a NYC sidewalk from a position of prayer would meet hard resistance if someone attempted to publish it 2020+, and in 2024+ the idea of someone dancing *between* a red window and blue window (or existing *between* life and choice, for that matter) would be abhorrent. I think at the time of actual publication, there was an issue with using the fire escape as a set. In each era you will receive resistance to your brilliance; either pick your battles or blow them away with something undeniably powerful.
I'm also 63 years old and I love her music

Thanks for the lyrics.🤗
i wonder if she really knows the ENTIRE generation of LGBT people she singlehandedly *saved* with this album
like if you were a young LGBT teen living in 2010/2011 you know that shit was hard, i feel like we all can agree on that.
Gaga herself was a cultural reset in Pop culture
@@mateosanfitz9625 no, it was a cultural reset, SHE was a cultural reset.
My parents once found my diary where I wrote that Gaga made me accept myself for who I am and they then got mad at me for saying that. Deep down I still believe it’s true ❤️.
Those times should come back! 2020/2021 LGBTQ suffers again!!!
@@deadchannel5811 sorry bby but in 2020 we have won more than we ever did so you can choke about it 💜
This is one of her best songs, how I wish she made an album similar to Born This Way again.
Lyrics
There ain't no reason you and me should be alone
Tonight, yeah, baby! (Tonight, yeah, baby!)
And I got a reason that you're who should take me home tonight (Tonight)
I need a man that thinks it's right when it's so wrong
Tonight, yeah, baby! (Tonight, yeah, baby!)
Right on the limits where we know we both belong tonight
[Bridge:]
It's hard to feel the rush, to brush the dangerous
I'm gonna run right to, to the edge with you
Where we can both fall far in love
[Chorus:]
I'm on the edge of glory, and I'm hanging on a moment of truth
Out on the edge of glory, and I'm hanging on a moment with you
I'm on the edge, the edge, the edge, the edge, the edge, the edge, the edge,
I'm on the edge of glory, and I'm hanging on a moment with you
I'm on the edge with you.
Another shot before we kiss the other side
Tonight, yeah, baby! (Tonight, yeah, baby!)
I'm on the edge of something final we call life tonight
(Alright! Alright!)
Put on your shades, 'cause I'll be dancing in the flames
Tonight, yeah, baby! (Tonight, yeah, baby!)
It isn't hell if everybody knows my name tonight
(Alright! Alright!)
I'm on the edge with you
I'm on the edge with you
(You, you, you...)
[Solo saxophone]
[Chorus:]
I'm on the edge of glory, and I'm hanging on a moment of truth
I'm on the edge of glory, and I'm hanging on a moment with you
I'm on the edge, the edge, the edge, the edge, the edge, the edge, the edge,
I'm on the edge of glory, and I'm hanging on a moment with you
I'm on the edge with you (with you, with you, with you, with you, with you)

She is such an artist. Its unbelievable how talented she is. We are so lucky to have her. ❤
Mateus Matzenbacher yeah i m now a little monster too. She s really really talented. She can literally do anything with her voice
Mateus Matzenbacher i'm thinking just like you. I'm a rock fan too but Lady Gaga has amazing songs and i love her

One of her most underrated hits
The Sound engineering that has gone into this, the production design, the art design, the cinematography, the editing, the costume, hair & make-up design, the Direction & Lady's voice!!!! Am I alone here???

Just like she's doing with Tony Bennett, she did with Clarence Clemons, celebrating the artist while he's still alive. Lady Gaga is a legend.

I heard through the grapevine that Gaga performed this at a Harris rally today! Good enough excuse to revisit one of the best ever music videos!
This song helped me with my depression.
we can all leave this world happy!!🤗🤗
d_last_dinosaur I had a tuff time in grade school I had over 100 Irish Freckels on my face. EVERYBODY LOVES AN IRISH GIRL RED HAIR OR NOT. It is True REDHEADS do get Bullied at School. PROUD IRISH AMERICAN HERE
Maybe it could help my Twin Georg’s clinical depression. He actually plays Saxophone.
@@jimogrady1131 Red hair is amazing, literally, a black haired Italian here. I really like them. When I hear these stories I can't help but thinking how stupid and ignorant people can be. Like, "y'all, it's just a stupid hair color, it's not enough to hurt and shame people you douchebags!" Let's be proud of ourselves, always!
@@jimogrady1131 nevermind stupid people. Red hairs are sexy.
back to the old gaga days? people she's not 25 anymore. a person grows and matures as they get older, and it shows in their music and art. gaga has gotten better with her music in a sense of honesty about herself.
Ntv50 True .. Well said 🙂
Gagas age has nothing to do with how bad joanne is.
What the fuck?
Honestly, no. ARTPOP was Gaga trying to mold her music to (what she thought) the mainstream wanted. Go listen to "Blueberry Kisses", then listen to "Just Another Day". JOANNE is Gaga stripped of the cruft.
"because his life was glorious"

her grandfather’s right?
A lot of these comments are saying how this is one of her most "underrated hits" when in fact it isn't? It respectfully peaked at #3 on the billboard hot 100 and it was a HUGE summer smash hit! but yet again some people who are just finding this Gaga song were probably too young to remember the hype and buzz around this beautiful song. Gaga created many timeless hits but this one is by far her absolute best! Long Live Mother Monster
SPILLED! Her best song. 🥰🥰🥰
Yea. This song was not overlooked by any means, It ruled the world for a little while.
Ruled the world is an exaggeration. It was a hit for her but wasnt a monster smash #1 hit like just dance or pokerface were.
Who else thinks that Lady Gaga looked stunning in this video

Doubt it. Shes pop culture. Thats like saying youd be bullied for liking Britney Spears or the backstreet boys 😂
@@alexanderkvitrovn9828 she’s also highly associated with the lgbtq+ community and many cishet people find her too dramatic or weird. I was also always teased for liking her for these reasons. So yes she is one of the biggest pop icons but many non-queer people don’t see her as such ❤️

Exactly! It's the most "gaga" album (best adjective ever xd)
It's only good if you love gaga or 80s music (which this is trying to emulate). Otherwise it just sounds weird which is why it didn't get much play on the radio. But I will also agree that this is my favorite song she's done.
it didnt get much play? It got loads of play
