Fantastic job! I don’t think I’ve ever seen anybody use hot glue and make a mold, what a great idea. It worked like a charm, leave it to Katie to figure it out. Personally, I like the brass knobs on the table. I think it accents it perfectly. I really enjoy your videos and appreciate your time and talent. Take care, stay safe.
I wasn’t sure about the Woodwick color at first, but I am really liking it! Seems like it has a bit of gray to all the brown? The coffee table looks a thousand times better. I am really like the rustic top and the wood wash in the Woodwick is fantastic! I am so glad it looked better in the morning. I would happily have this table in my home. Thanks for all your teaching and skills as always. You’re amazing.
Thank you for sharing the leg repair! We have a puppy chewed piece that my husband made in shop class. He wasn't sure how to repair. ❤ The top had me nervous but absolutely love after it dried!!! Not my style color wise on bottom, but will look great in someone's home.
Another beautiful piece. 😍 and I think the knob is perfect. I look forward to each of your videos. I find them very relaxing to watch, and your a great teacher. Thanks for all the tips. ❤️
I like it!! Looks so good. You picked the right color for it too. I’m glad you waited till next morning to see the top cuz it looks great. Another great job well done. ♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟
Hi Katie, Always so nice to see you. Ohhh the coffee table turned out so beautiful! I learn so much from you, you got what it takes to teach, love all your videos! Stay safe, warm and God Bless ❤
You are a miracle worker! I love the finished product so much. I’m finally selling a piece today that I got for free that also had been chewed. My repair wasn’t as smooth and beautiful as yours but it certainly is improved. Love love love your work, Katie!
Beautiful! That wax mold idea was genius. I'm stealing that! I think I've learned more about how to use paint from you than anyone else I ever watched. Thanks!
So beautiful! I like the brass knob. The brass compliments the wood. 👍 Wow, making the mold and rebuilding the leg was something completely new that I learned! I wish I now had the solid wood table I got rid of years ago after one of our dogs chewed one of its feet it into a horrid, splintery mess!
This is gorgeous, Katie - you did a great job! The leg repair looks wonderful - you'd never know it was a puppy teether. I love the color, and the lightly stained top is a perfect accent. I'm a fan of the brass knob!
Wow... that turned out great! Love the colors, even the knob. What was a tacky beat-up coffee table is now a beautiful first-rate piece of furniture. Katie, you never disappoint! ❤❤❤
Thank you for this content! I just rescued a pair of pine bedside tables from the 70’s to create bases for bookshelves in my office/studio. I was planning on painting them but now I may end up leaving the top a more natural finish! Inspiration!
I'm always amazed at the transformation of your furniture flips! It's partly your attention to detail, but equally, your keen sense of style and taste!
Katie, I find your knowledge of wood-the kind, what it will and won’t do, what will work on it and how to repair it (like that leg mold) just truly amazing. You are truly a pro in your field and that I think amazing. Each time you release a video, I know I’m going to learn something and enjoy it. Thanks for sharing
Wow, Katie! The hot glue mold was just genius!🤯 I've never seen anybody do that! The brass knob is perfect!❤ No need to change it. What was a sad, chewed up, boring little table is now a beauty queen!👑 Well done!
Well Excuse me !!!! Is there no end to your talent xx I think you are great , my hubby doesn't though as you are costing us a fortune in materials, I'm so inspired !!!
Love it! Rustic is not my style but everything about your transformation of this piece I love, the color is great, top looks great with it and the knob is perfect. And thank you for the hot glue form idea, that is just brilliant!
Wow…I’m absolutely shocked at the hot glue leg repair trick…never knew that could be done…well done Katie!!! The piece turned out beautiful! Thank you!
Stunning makeover for this dated and damaged piece. Not gonna lie: when you were doing the glue mold and the bondo for the chewed up leg, I was thinking "how? how is this going to fix that leg?" I should never have doubted you. And it's great that you don't stress about how a piece is turning out--very reassuring for a beginner.
100% agreed with you when I first saw the wash. But like you, I really liked the look the next morning! It’s amazing how much things can change with just a few hours! It’s beautiful!
I love how you showed how glue/glue gun can be used to make a mold for replacement pieces! Very cool. Knob looks good. You could also used a Black matte knob.
The leg repair looks fabulous! But of course, I'd expect nothing less from Katie. Such a pro
You are a natural born teacher. This is coming from a teacher. 😊

I completely second this comment, Katie!! And agree about the knob too, it’s a perfect match.
The brass knob is perfect! Color and texture, lovely.

I had my doubts about that color and the paint washed top. But girl, you called it! Perfect. I love this.
Yay! Thank you!
Great job, Katie. I love the hot glue mold technique. 🌺😀
The classic finish made this outdated pine finish look like a Pottery Barn piece. So beautiful.
That table looks awesome and I really like the brass pull. ❤❤😊❤❤
Great makeover Katie! Thanks. 😊💜👍🇨🇦
Beautiful! That wax mold idea was genius. I'm stealing that! I think I've learned more about how to use paint from you than anyone else I ever watched. Thanks!

@salvagedbykscott like nobody ever told me to strain and/or thin my paint before spraying. Solved sooo many problems!
Oh you are the furniture whisperer! Everything you touch just ends up with gorgeous new life!! ❤😊
Love the colour choice ! Whenever I do a wash I do a 5:1 ratio and just paint on and never wipe back - it’s always a perfect uniform finish 😊

Love it Katie thank you so much for your lesson on fixing the damaged leg you are the best ❤

I like the wood wick paint wash on the top. Really tones down the orange color of the pine. Great job.

I should never have doubted you. And it's great that you don't stress about how a piece is turning out--very reassuring for a beginner.
WOW! Absolutely stunning!
The brass knob looks nice. An alternative might be the original wooden knob, sanded back to raw wood and painted with the paint wash to match the top.
I agree with others. You do an amazing job explaining the details. Great tutorial.
The hot glue idea is genius!
This came out great, Katie. Great job!
Brilliant, as usual! 🎉

Oh, the orangey pine furniture era! I have a low bookcase made of pine ... it's going to Habitat ReStore as soon as I refinish the replacement.
You are a stellar instructor. Thanx
