Every single day while I am working on my Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions to attend Howard University I think about playing sports but I really wanna join the Marching Band I wanna start off as a Snare Drummer, Trumpet Player, Trombone Player, and be the Drum Major marching in the band is something that I had been wanting to do for 15 years and since I am 19 years old I plan to attend Howard University next fall and achieve my dream of Marching in the Band and I also plan own becoming the next Director of Bands at Howard University and I really think that I can do it.

Since you already know how to play trumpet I would HIGHLY SUGGEST looking into lower brass especially Mellophone (trust me I started playing as a trumpet. You already know how to play mellophone if you play trumpet exact same fingerings) as thats where the needs are the greatest and you can truly show your colors as a musician and being a more needed instrument could increase your scholarship.
