That'll never happen as Florian Schneider is dead, with Karl Bartos and Wolfgang Flür detesting Ralf Hütter, who's the only original member and the sole owner of the Kraftwerk name. I managed to see them just before Florian left the group.
This is a perfect pop song. And is really special because Kraftwerk didn't need an incredible singer and actually used the lack of a great singer to great effect, raising the feeling of lonliness. The chorus fills me with emotion and the bridge sounds as though it shares the feelings I have about the chorus. The rhythm change before the bridge is nice as well and adds urgency to the song
I think this maybe my favourite version of my favourite Kraftwerk song, and I've been obsessed with them for over a year now. Thank you for uploading :)
Was introduced to Kraftwerk when I was about 3 - I'm about to turn 22 and this is still one of my favourite songs ❤️ been speaking German for 11 years now, too. Thank you so much for the upload!
I saw them twice. It was really something incredible. Also in really modest venues Hummingbird Birmingham, kind of dodgy nightclub, then at Norwich University U.K. I remember cycle and seeing they were playing in this small British town. I nearly fell of my bike. There was this dude from the UNI dressed in a white lab coat, like a scientist at the gig. It was really amazing.! It was really like they brought the studio with them so it had this extra dimension. I think the Kraftwerk now with just the laptops really just doesn't have any of that strangeness. Anyway
A raw off the floor (rehearsal?) perspective in decent sound. Blunt, intellectual punk rock. With actual melodic music thrown in for Germanic good measure.
The song is so much better with the drums...it feels like Wolfgang Flür really carried Kraftwerk with the drums in the 70s and 80s (which might be why a lot of their music in the 80s is generally seen as their weakest work, even though I still think their albums from the 80s are still good) They really picked themselves up with The Mix though (IMO, a lot of people will strongly disagree)
@pankaburek59 Exactly, in his autobiography Wolfgang says it was Karl who with his college degree in composition brought a whole different class to Kraftwerks work, including nailing the iconic Computerwelt drum track
No fuck 3:20 it's moment when st studio this part going here it only kinda late This is german perfection 4:57 isn't it same clock was in kling klang studio
i come back to this video regularly because of how beautiful it is. i'd do anything to go back in time to see kraftwerk in the 80s.

Indeed, and it will.
If individual views counted to the total I'd have made a solid dent in trillion views
Es gibt keine milliarde Menschen auf Erde. Gott sei dank. Es wäre sonst nicht auszuhalten.

Bloody amazing. I love these guys. This is one of my favourite songs by this amazing band.
The best example of music described modern times.

kluczem są modernistyczna abstrakcja, uproszczenie i redukcja. Kraftwerk to esencja modernizmu.
Masterpiece
Amazing thanks
At 3:26 the bas line transition is legend!!
Historia en mayúsculas de la música

Bravissimi dal vivo. Quasi umani :-D.

Seems like Karl Bartos was making all the drum work, Wolfgang was not claimed in any song as composer he was playing live only.

Not copied, sampled!
The German versions are superior to the English ones.
