Bantam and Orpington chick hatching

Phase 1:
#Bantam and #Orpington #Chick hatching May 2024 on Effstigarth Croft, Yell, Shetland.
11 out of 16 eggs hatching on Friday, 2 to Saturday, 3 May 2024.
Once feathers dried out, they went into the warming house.
The temperature had to be maintained at 35 degrees C. However, on Saturday night, at 8.30 pm, there was a power cut until 5.30 am on Sunday. we had to keep them as warm as we could.
They all survived.
