Love your explanation on how to print on cardstock. I use this type of paper for making birthday cards for my grandkids. Your method and explanation for printing on premium presentation paper made my card come out looking way better/vibrant than on the plain white bright paper. I also was doing 2 sides, so I learned to do that manually. The ink usage is amazing on this printer! Thanks again for posting this easy method of printing on cardstock!
Oh NO! No CD drive in your computer? NO WORRIES! I bought an LG portable CD/DVD drive from Best Buy. Cost me about $20,00. Plugs into a USB port. Works great. Glad you mentioned card stock. Just got me ET-3850 last week. So far so good. Thanks.
I’m wondering if the settings for the paper and all that that are on the screen on the printer is even needed to be adjusted if you’ve already adjusted it on the computer? I would think the settings on the printer itself is if you’re not using a computer for settings.
Honestly I haven’t tried it that way but that’s a good point. There may be no need to adjust the printer settings when when printing directly from the computer.
Thanks for the video. I have this printer, and, plain text printing is pretty light. Is there a way to adjust printer darkness (I'm just interested in the black ink for printing texts). Again, many thanks.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience with this printer. I am considering it as well. Showing the print quality and printing on heavy cardstock was very helpful. 110# is heavier than the printer is rated for, but it looks like it did a fine job. That was a big concern of mine. How do photos come out on photo paper?
Hii I did find adjusting the paper type usefull but the photos I’m printing seems to lack a few of the important colors for example a lot of Blue but there’s not enough magenta and cyan in the mix 😥 don’t know what else I need to adjust
Which editing app are you using? I know canva is free for minor adjustments. I would recoupment making the image bright and increasing the saturation and vibrancy in the settings on Canva or whichever editing app you’re using. ❤️
@@nperfectplans okay thank you I will try. I tried using the phone app to adjust the colors and play around with the saturation and saw a little difference but when it came to the magenta there’s just no sign of that color on any of my print outs. I’m also curious if I have to recharge the ink or something
Hi there, great video! I am looking to buy this printer tomorrow but I was just wondering how long it took to print sheet of the 110lb card shown in the video? I’m looking for a printer that prints lots of pieces of 200gsm a6 cardstock. Do you think this printer is a suitable option?
Hi! Great question. Honestly it prints pretty slow with thick cardstock so if you are planning to use this for bulk printing it may not be the best but for personal use I would absolutely recommend it,
Actually looking at getting this same model. Epson claims it won't handle anything heavier than about 24 pound paper. Have you had any issues with cardstock jamming in this printer? Would really be happy if it does handle cardstock without issues!
The card stock I use in this video is the thickest I used and it prints good. Never had an issue with jamming and I’ve printed a lot. But of course the thicker the paper you use the slower it prints. I was going to use this printer for business but when it comes to cardstock it prints to slow.
I use Canva to edit and create my planner inserts. So in the editing settings I brightened the photo and added more saturation to it. Printer settings didn't help, you have to adjust the actual photo. Make it brighter than you would like when editing and it will come out much brighter when printing.
According to the user guide it says the heaviest paper this printer supports is 27 lbs. Have you had any issues using 100 lb. cardstock? Did it cause any damage, streaks or printer issues using cardstock? Thank you.
60 (or 64 I forgot the pounds) is the highest I can get mine to do. It just spits out thicker paper. I asked an ai thing and it said 300 was the max😂 I'd love to find out.
Yes! I’ve noticed it does that sometimes. Make sure you match the settings on the printer to the setting on the computer. So if you’re using a5 paper make sure you change the size to a5. That should help
I’m using premium presentation paper and 110lb cardstock. The print is amazing and brought out almost every detail. It was a bit dark when I first printed by I edited the pic to brighten it up and it came out beautifully

I was in the fence... bought it today. Thanks for the demo using card stock.
You are going to love it and you are very welcome! ❤️
Seriously thank u from the bottom of my heart for this video. So helpful, informative, and clear!
I am so glad it was helpful! ❤️ thanks for watching!
Love your unboxing videos. Very informative!

@@nperfectplans yeah I’m thinking that as well. The computer said override the settings on the printer.

In the printer settings make sure you choose premium presentation paper matte for the paper type. That usually helps me with brightness.
@@nperfectplans It worked like a charm. Thanks.
@nperfectplans have you ever used 67lb vellum cardstock in it or just 110?
I’ve only used the 110 so far.
That you for the information I’m trying to decide if this will work for me.
You’re very welcome. I hope this video helped in your decision! ❤️

Glad it was helpful! I’ve never printed on glossy photo paper but hope to try it out soon.
I tried glossy photo and it came out great! It was old photo paper from a garage sale too!
hi good day . what type of paper do you recommend using for educational books

Have you still had success with the 110lb paper after a few months? I was going to buy this printer, but need it mainly to print on cardstock.
I have! I use 110lb paper to print my planner inserts and dashboards at least once a month and it prints great. Never had an issue with jamming either

Really love this video!!!! Great unboxing!!!!❤
Thank you ❤️❤️
May I ask what setting you input on the actual printer itself? I’ve been trying to print on 110 pound card stock paper and it’s not working.
I would like to knwo this too
Me too!!! Anyone figure it out yet?
What settings did you fix to get the color so bright I’ve tried everything with mine and I still can’t get it to look that bright

i do wanna print on a cardstock at around 300lb but i don't know if it'll be able to take it. but I'm glad 110 was good
Did you ever try it?
What setting do you put your printer at to print on cardstock?
I can't find the L351 drivers, can you help me?

I use 60# ALL the time for junk journals and it prints perfectly.
Are you able to print double sided with the 110lb paper?
Absolutely! But I have to do manual double sided
Hello, did u adjust the saturation colour using photoshop or other software?
Hi! I adjusted it using the Canva app. Adjusted the saturation and brightness.
@@nperfectplans thanks!
Can you tell me please if I can print 250 gsm in this print? I’m struggling to know about this, please help me..
Yes you should be able to. The Epson is supposed to print up to 300gsm
@@nperfectplans thank you so much

The explanations were pretty good, the music played along overwhelmed your voice.
Where do you order your Neenah cardstock from?
I ordered mine from Amazon
I used about months but wife is not connected wifi show to me red color X
we just brought this model home and cannot get the lid to close. HELP!
I would absolutely return and request they send another if it’s already giving you issues. ❤️
I can't load 11 x 14 paper (legal paper
Print a A3?
