Thank you SOOOOOO much for this! My family and I are camping for Labor Day weekend this year and I just wanted to know what it all look like. I’ve only been to the hiking trails across from all the campgrounds. I’m thinking of campsite 5. I like how it is open.
great walk thru---really appreciate pointing out that altho some sites like 202 and 205 appear right on the beach you can't actually walk to the beach from your site
This was super helpful! I’m coming out of state in a few months to this site and it’s nice to see a breakdown video of it. I am a tad sad though, my campsite was missed 😂 196! But this gives me a great idea of everything. Thank you so much!
This was 3 years ago, maybe those sites were occupied or try replaying 2x times the speed to see if we showed them.. Thanks for watching, there are alot of nice sites there.
Thank you so much. Stopping here for a few nights coming from NJ to FL with a teardrop and 149 is the perfect little spot for me an my teardrop. This was incredibly helpful
Great video! Do you happen to remember if there were any tent sites close to the beach or can you put a tent on an rv spot? If you google tents sites first landing it shows a tent spot in the sand with what looks like electric next to it. But on the map all the tent sites are behind all the rv sites that are closer to the beach. Thanks for your help!
You can call them and ask them if you can camp on an rv site.. I would imagine the cost would be higher since they are rv sites. There are alot of nice sites there. I couldn't imagine getting a bad site with a tent or an rv.. They were all very nice. 😁👍
Thank you so much for doing this walk-through. We've been camping here for 10 years, but have never documented every site that our camper will fit or work for us (shade, tent space, parking, etc). Great job!
Mike, I have to say that was an extremely thorough walk through of a campground you and Heidi have every done. Very good job with explaining all the sites and what to be mindful of.. You touch on one other thing which are the funny growing tree's in a few of the sites.. Be mindful of those because I seen a guy catch his awning while pulling out of a site like that, and it tore the awning right off his rig. He was clear of the tree except this one branch which was on a wild angle and it caught the awning and nothing else.. Good to have a spotter around those tree's.
Even though we may not make it there from Southern California, we appreciate your and Heidi's efforts. Like you and Heidi, we have tried researching campgrounds we've never been to as well and couldn't find any info. Now somebody can and will benefit from all your hard work! BTW, we watched the whole thing anyway.
Watching this video, all I could think about is, if you came to this campground, you may want to pick your spot wisely, as its important to not be short cited.
This video was incredibly helpful! Being able to see every site was awesome and allowed me to compare it to other campgrounds in the area. Thanks for your efforts on this!
We are tent campers, but we like to have access to electric. We just made a reservation to camp in this park. While making the reservation, we discovered that certain campsites, especially those with water and electric are NOT RESERVABLE IN ADVANCE. That means that access to certain sites is literally FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. Specifically, the choice locations are not reservable at all. On the website, these sites are called "Nonspecific" and the disclaimer says that "Park staff will assign you a site during check in." Sites 1 through 43 are all "Nonspecific," and cannot be reserved. Just a warning to all.
Love the pull through spots, just makes it that much easier. Plus me personally, I like to be outside if the weather is nice so a shaded spot is a huge plus so it’s not so hot. Look up Petit Jean mountain state park in Arkansas. That’s one of my go to places. There’s some mice ones in Heber Springs as well.
Thanks, prior to making reservations we checked out RUclips and really didn't find much. Hopeful this will help campers pick a great spot! Thanks for watching! 😁👍
Hi Mike and Hiede! I think I found the perfect rv for your new rig. We just looked at it on Sunday. It's a 2009 Arctic fox 26x in excellent condition. The asking price is $14,500. I don't know if you have ever seen one but it's got a big living area and plenty of storage space. It's located in central pa. Let me know if you want more info. Another great and informative video from you guys as usual.
Very helpful in planning our stay there next spring.
Great video!! Thank you!

Thanks for doing this, really helps to get a sense of each campsite as I am sitting here shopping for sites this summer!
Super nice park.. When we made our reservations there wasn't many videos of the park. Enjoy..
I have used your map for some time now, best video I have seen yet for this park
Yes that's why we made it..😁 There wasn't much out there on RUclips. We hope to visit again soon.. Thanks for watching!!
Thank you for your efforts in doing this walkthrough. Very helpful

Hi. Any advice for family tent week?
I used to tent camp there with my Dad growing up in VB. Loved camping there. I will be reserving a RV site there and take my boys there
It's a great park, kids will love it..
Best campground walk through I've ever seen on RUclips. Thank you!!
Thank you 😁👍
Awesome walk through thank you. Our family has camped there twice. Last summer we spent 5 days. And loved it
Thank you
We are going End of August 24
Hi, any advice for tent camping on the spring break? Thanks

Welcome to my hometown
Damn, I booked 19, the only one avail during spring break, thanks for the tip about its grade!
19 actually worked perfectly for my 13 ft trailer. I parked it all the way back and was able to get it level. If your in a larger rv, 19 will be tough
Thanks so much for this super useful video!
Thank you for this detailed video.

Love the walk thru and detailing. i wish every campground had this. I aspire to try something like this in the campgrounds we live near/visit.
