Great review! I recently bought the Sport Touring in late February, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations. I'm consistently achieving the projected MPG, which I'm thrilled about. The ride quality is excellent, providing a smooth and enjoyable driving experience. It's worth noting that the Sport Touring received a well-deserved accolade from Kelly Blue Book as the best SUV hybrid in its class. If you're in the market for a new car, this should definitely be at the top of your list.
I like the dual exhaust tips it makes it look nicer don't change that Honda I don't care one of them is not in use iam enjoying my sport touring getting 35-41 city.
The CR-V rides and handles better than the Outback Wilderness, no question. Cabin noise is closer, but probably also quieter in the CR-V. It was several months between driving them, so I'm hesitant to judge that one solely off of memory.
It's close, but the Accord is better in both areas. If you're at all curious, I did review the new Accord as well: ruclips.net/video/h11TRaWYmo4/видео.html
Great review! I’d love to see a Toyota RAV4 XSE Hybrid review and comparison to the CRV. I’m currently torn between these two models and trims. Love the hard work and video. Thanks
Thank you! I did test a RAV4, but the plug-in hybrid, in case that's at all useful: ruclips.net/video/ogzug9FwyEY/видео.html And, I did test the Toyota Venza, which has a very similar hybrid powertrain: ruclips.net/video/zOv-Om4xZ8s/видео.html But I'll see if I can get my hands on a RAV4 Hybrid
Excellent review! Totally agree that the fake noise and up-shifts take away from the "Electric" feel that I originally bought that exact model for. I wish it could be turned off in the software. And a question ... At 26:00, the 2 amber rear turn signals flashed and looked like LED bulbs. I have only seen incandescent amber bulbs (21W) on the 6th generation, including mine. Is your test car a non-USA model or is there an LED upgrade for the rear turn signals available?
Thank you so much! And glad to hear I have support for my opinion on the manufactured noise and up shifts. To your question, as far as I am aware, it is a US spec car. And the specs only say LED front turn signals, which leads me to believe they are in fact incandescent. I am only guessing here, but perhaps it was the combination of the lighting and my camera settings that made it look a bit different?
@@viewsonvehicles Yes, looks like you are right. Checked again, and at 7:20, the flashing bulbs look like incandescent. Another disappointment for a $40,000 car.
23:05 I got a Red 2023 CR-V Hybrid on 5/25/23. Never had a Hybrid before. I love this car. I haven’t had a new car in 13 years. It had 3 miles on it when I got it and now has over 850 miles on 6/11/23. Great ride!
What's the frame tire size on that bike? I want something to hold a bike and I think mine is on the big side - 22 frame 27 wheel so maybe 73 inches long. It is hard to find information on cargo dimensions. Usually what you get from web pages is cubic feet.
My road bike is a large frame, 56 cm frame (22-inch) and the tires are standard 700 x 23C tires. However, I measured my bike to be around 65-inches long and 42-inches tall. Hope that helps!
The Lane Keeping is good but odd to me; when your hands are on the wheel, you can feel the system jerking you, subtly but forcefully, into the center of the lane. Sometimes I like to be to one side of the lane or the other, particularly in Californina where motorcycles lane share

Great video. I just bought a 2023 CRV, sport hybrid and I love it! Sorry, now it’s your brain worm 🐛 😂
I wish reviewers wouldn't spend so much time discussing "rugged good looks". What about engine blow-by? Do we expect that this new model will have flaws?
A vacuum cleaner with about 1” bristle brush. Easy. Should not concern yourself with this issue. Bought it last Dec, great car, and the hybrid mpg is 38+ combined thus far.

Yes Rav4 hybrid has limited stock so your local dealerships will sell over MSRP guaranteed. I just bought the 2023 CRV HYBRID AWD in March & I can tell you that the cabin is way bigger than the Rav4 and has a superior driving experience compared to the RAV4 HYBRID test drove both before making my purchase. I already have 6k miles in it took it too Baja from LA did some off roading with it's still in it's original stock and it's exceeded my expectations.
Some versions of the sport have them body colored rather than chrome which is better but I agree they do not look that good though I still like the looks overall. Better than the rav4 if you ask me.

Great job Robin, keep the reviews coming
Thank you very much!
Thanks Robin! Great video! Which seemed quieter and more refined to you, this or the Accord Hybrid Touring?
Thank you so much! Between the two, the Accord Hybrid Touring is more refined.
I like this CR-V…..worried the dealerships will charge extra due to supply issues and demand
Thank you for your explanation of the shift paddles.
Glad you liked it!
No mention of no spare tire?
Great review, very informative. Keep up the great reviews.

@@viewsonvehiclesgreat to have your engineering insights on weight distribution and the like too
also the bike test is a good one and worth continuing - bit harder for me to gauge with a MTB which are often a fair bit bigger than road bikes

does it have room for a full size spare tire under the cargo floor, or does it have a vacation-wrecker (tire "repair"kit)?
Vacation wrecker
It did not have space for a full size spare under the cargo floor.

Why does it make this loud sound and you can feel it when backing up and coming off brakes. Ppl. Outside hear it
That's a safety thing. Because the engine often isn't running at slow speeds, Honda hybrids make that noise to get pedestrians attention.
