      @@PocketChangeInspector do they only take high grade coins? Or can you send in varieties as well? I’d love to send that XF 40 Liberty Seated Dime with the F-105 attribute. Plus the 1892 Barber Dime that will be coming back from NGC. Hopefully it gets a mad die clash with a proof attribute.

      @@letslookbrad I know they only take PCGS & NGC. Primarily because they want to see the rim which they can't with the ANACS holders. With grade, I've see low grades with CAC stickers but what they look for is that it looks great for it's grade. Sort of like an A, B, & C level where the coin is at the top and/or it looks like it could bump up a grade. That's where the gold sticker comes in. The green is for coins that look great for their grade or A level. This was my first CAC submission but what I was told prior to considering these coins.

    Congrats on the CAC beans. Really blazing examples. These days, CAC is being extremely tough - a dealer that I know who usually had a 70% bean rate tells me now it’s only about 40% more recently. About a year and a half ago, I sent 5 Morgan dollars in to CAC through him, and was fortunate enough to get 4 out of 5.😊

    Wow buddy, those are sweet! I only have the one graded coin, my birth year 87' ms69 Eagle but the Walkers are definitely my favorite constitutional coin so id really like to get a beautiful condition graded Walker one day. Dont see them much so i don't even know about how much a pretty good specimen would be. Not looking for anything crazy or key dated but just a nice specimen. Any advice on where to keep an eye out for one since i rarely see them, and never seen one actually for sale?
    Congrats on getting the CAC.

      Thx! The Walker I think I bought 3 or 4 yrs ago when the value was at least half of what it is now. One of the reasons I'm doing less with coins currently. The prices on many I followed really jumped after the pandemic got under way in 2020. I still bought some here and there and had some graded but not so much after 2022.

    Thank you for the video. Question, given that the CACGrading has a similar appearance as the CAC Sticker, it almost seems like it may be (generally) more profitable, to send raw coins for grading to CACG, rather than NGC/PCGS and then pay the time and money to go back and submit for CAC Stickering. (I bring this up bc of a recent Great Collections auction, that I noticed two (same)1878 Morgans: one w/a CAC Sticker and the other without. The one without, was one grade higher...but it was graded by CAC Grading. The price of the CAC Grading Morgan sold for DOUBLE THE PRICE AS THE ONE THAT WAS NGC CAC STICKERED. THIS SHOCKED ME, AS THE CAC STICKERED MORGAN WAS THEREFORE AT THE HIGH-END OF THE GRADE, AND THEREFORE VERY CLOSE TO THE GRADE OF THE CAC GRADED MORGAN...YET IT BROUHT ONLY HALF THE PRICE! Any thoughts?

    • @PocketChangeInspector
      @PocketChangeInspector  3 месяца назад +1

      I've been following CAC holdered coins on Great Collections, Ebay, and just a few at some coin shows I attend. I haven't had raw coins to submit for grading since CAC rolled out that service. If I had additional raw coins for grading I would consider them. Especially if the right coins. I myself am not one that likes playing the crack out game. I know there are a bunch of videos on it but of people I actually do know that tried it mostly received a dropped a grade, stayed the same, or picked up 'Details' on their new label. It's just not worth the risk or cost (to me anyway). I would have to be extremely confident and have a coin with a value worthy for the crack out and switch. Those three I sent for stickering were just for the fun of it and experience without going out and picking up new coins. Thanks for stopping by and the comment. Appreciated.

    New to this , what determines if the coin gets a bean or not ?

    • @PocketChangeInspector
      @PocketChangeInspector  5 месяцев назад

      It doesn't just have to look the grade but great for the grade or under-graded. If it looks under-graded they put a gold sticker on it. For the grade they basically (as it was explained to me) look at the coin as a A, B, or C. If they believe the grade is correct and they feel it's an A they give the green sticker. Hope that helps. It was my first submission. Appreciate you watching and commenting. Thanks for stopping by!
