There are many many different ways to diffuse your hair and you have to figure out what works best for you. Lately this method has been giving me great results!
Please note that I understand that the Dyson Hair Dryer is pricey! I received it as a gift for my 30th birthday (like a "Hey, Sorry your old, but at least your hair will look great" kind of present).

I believed I could not begin the “curly girl” journey for two reasons. First, I have three cowlicks, which I have to brush 😱, while blow drying into submission. If I do not, they look like bald spots. So, thank you for the “why didn’t I think of that,” moment with the hair clips. Secondly, I keep hearing, “no heat,” consistently. Therefore, I was pleased to hear you use a “medium heat” setting, while blow drying your hair in this video. That will help this 2a, fine haired girl with time, frizz, and volume. Now, if I can just fine tune this process (or my stubbornness) to manage my oily roots, which show up in less than 24 hours, along with necessary scalp/dandruff treatments...Even if I do not end up as a “curly girl,” I am very grateful for your time and honesty, collectively.

💙 it is nice and comforting to see that I am not alone in being a rebel for diffusing on high speed and medium heat. Once the hair is healthy or at least healthier and you keep up with deep conditioning and giving the hair what it needs, I don’t find it to be a problem or that affects my styling

💙 My hair was all sausage curls when I was little, but once it grew out it was stick straight for years. A few years ago, I started to have to flat iron my hair because it was so unruly and frizzy. Over this past summer, I stopped flat ironing it (laziness on my part) and all of a sudden I had waves! By the fall, I had 2c/3a hair- with some cowlicks and straight portions thrown in for fun- and had NO IDEA how to take care of it. Your videos have been amazingly helpful. Thank you for sharing your hair journey!

I've always wanted long wavy hair its finally got long but its sooo damaged. Watching your channel has made me think whether my hair is like your's and needs a restart and some major TLC. I'm so scared to cut it cause it takes dinasore years to grow.

💙 Thank you so much for this, my hair changed textures a couple years ago and I’ve was struggling with it but your videos really help as I have the same texture. It’s really helpful to watch videos like this and now I’ve even got my grandmother to try the curly girl method and honestly I’m jealous of her new found curls but mine are finally settling in really nicely. 💙

Love it just be careful with your lower back. I use a chair for support when diffusing upside down to help my back. Love the help with the cowlick. I have a really bad cowlick and it needs help lol.

I'm watching on my computer and don't have a blue heart, but I watched the whole vid! I am so glad that I found your channel, because I'm pretty sure that my hair is mainly 2A waves. It's barely wavy AT ALL, but I also have a fair bit of damage I'm working with. Your channel has been so helpful to see hair similar (hopefully) to mine - and it's comforting to see your pics from your transition, because my hair looks the same right now! Thanks for the tips and the hope of pretty waves!

2a hair is so pretty though. My son has 2a long hair, and it curls just like a model who got her hair styled on a photo shoot 😆 I have 2c thin fine hair, and it’s such a struggle.

I am in a battle with my difuser...the minute i turn it on the amount of flyaways makes me wanna cry. Then I noticed in another video that you turn off the blowdryer when you change section, and though to my self.."omg that's it!!!" Tried it today aaaaaaaand.....nop...got even worse, i look like a warewolf. I'm getting really upset, i put in sooooo much time with my hair and somehow i am messing it up everytime...but your videos keep me going and teach me a lot...so thank you!i will get it right!

Thanks for this great video! I'm definetly ging to test this out...
I normaly let my hair air dry, but I'm struggling with its stubborn behavior after plopping. Didn't find the right strategy yet.
Maybe diffusing will make it better. Hopefully without frizz... 🙈
