I’ve had Saddleman, stock Harley and Mustang seats at different times in my riding life. Here is what I found. The backrest is the game changer, not necessarily the seat itself. I’ve liked each seat just fine as long as I got my rider backrest set where it was most comfortable. I’m running the stock seat now and after 26,700 miles in a year, I’m doing just fine. I had my Road Sofa on my last bike. It was good. But, like I say, it’s all in getting my backrest in the right place and then I’m all good. My longest ride in a day was 880 miles. I’ve done that same amount with multiple seats because I take the same route to Sturgis each year and stay in the same places along the way.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate your very thoughtful input on the topic. I agree that the backrest, especially on long trips, is a game changer. @@edwardedling216 Yes. Every seat I’ve owned would fit on a Road King. The seats on Road Glides, Street Glides, Limiteds all fit on Road Kings too. I owned a Road King before any of the other mentioned bikes.
@edwardedling216 These seats will fit on any of the touring models...so they will fit on a Road King as long as it is a 2008 or newer model. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. ✌️👍👊
Hey, I am looking to get a Saddlemen Road Sofa, heated. My question is,does the LS diamond stitching make it more comfortable than the regular smooth surface Road Sofa? Great video 😎👍
Thanks for watching and commenting. I'm not sure if the LS is more comfortable than the smooth version...I think it's more of a styling preference. However, I'd suggest calling Saddlemen to discuss with them. I would suggest getting the quick detach kit from Saddlemen as well if you go with the heated version. Thanks for your continued support to the channel and ride safe. ✌️👍👊
have you had anyone mention about the comfort of the step up rear seat on the tuck and roll. After your review of all the seats, I think I am going to go with the step up. Really looking for the comfort for me and my passenger for some longer duration rides.
Thanks for the question. The tour step up with Tuck and Roll is a very comfortable seat and will give your passenger more pillion space that the regular step up seat. However, the pillion area is definitely much small that that on the Road Sofa...which is probably the most comfortable seat for a passenger. If you go with the tour step up Tuck and roll...this will also have the GelCore for the passenger. The tour step up Tuck and Roll is a great looking seat and still giving longer distance riding confort for both rider and passenger. If you order direct from Saddlemen you can pick stitch colors and a few other options to have it custom built for you.
I'm running the Saddleman Road Sofa on my new 22 Road Glide. Got over 7000 miles now and while there was that break in period, it's absolutely an awesome seat! I would highly recommend it and their customer service during the order was superb! Ask for Buddy, awesome guy!!
Thanks for sharing your experience with the seat and customer service. It's always good to have additional perspective shared with those watching the video. Ride safe and enjoy the ride. 👍👊🇺🇸
I'm trying to decide between the SDC seat or the Road Sofa, and suggestions on what to take into consideration? No 2 up riding, just me. I'll a couple of rides a month ranging from 500-700 kms.
Thanks for watching and commenting. If you are riding solo and not taking very long trips, I would go with the SDC. It's got the GelCore technology for comfort, and it looks really sleek on the bike. I have the option with the small back rest, which is nice for longer trips. If you want the ultimate touring seat for really long rides, the Road Sofa is the way to go. I generally use the road sofa when I'm going to be riding for days when out on a trip. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. ✌️👊👍

I currently have the Saddlemen Explorer and Step-up for my Low Rider ST. Ordered the SDC Pro last week. Expected to arrive today. Looking forward to receiving and riding with the new seat. After years of riding on Mustang seats, I’m becoming a big fan of Saddlemen seats. I plan to make the SDC Pro my fulltime seat. Take care.
Just got the SDC - too hard - sit higher where I was now over my windshield- back rest was uncomfortable- extended reach was too far back - it’s boxed up and being returned- 3 days later and tailbone is still feeling it. Everyone is different might try lucky Dave’s
Thanks for watching and sharing your experience. Seats are very much specific to the rider. The Saddlemen seats work very well for me. The SDC does set you back farther than other seats as you mentioned. If you are already a subscriber...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
After 3k miles so far, I’m definitely a fan of my La Pera Maverick - it’s slightly wider between the legs than my factory 2019 Road King Special factory seat, but the high backrest and firmer padding (which is breaking in fantastically) has been worth every penny.
Thanks for sharing your experience Brad. Sounds like a great seat and getting better. If you are a subscriber...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Ride safe and enjoy. 👊✌️👍
Just bought a 17 road glide ultra with a mustang seat. It's not comfortable for me, I feel its to hard. I may be wrong, but thinking what would be comfortable for me is a softer seat where I sit in it, not on it. May need to try a stock seat if I can find one to try.
Thanks Curtis for watching and commenting. Saddlemen seats are firmer than stock as well due to having the GelCore material. While it may be firmer than stock, my experience has been the soft stock seats over time break down and become uncomfortable. In my case the stock seats caused me to have tailbone pain. Once I switched to a Saddlemen seat...no more tailbone pain and my rides became enjoyable again. If you are already a subscriber thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Good luck on the seat search and enjoy the new bike. ✌️👍👊
Thanks for watching and commenting. The last seat discussed in the Tour Step Up Tuck and Roll. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
@AzzKicker 1234 I do not have experience with Mustang seats or any others for long distance riding. I've found the @saddlemen touring step up or the road sofa to be my go to for the long rides. Thanks for watching and ride safe. 👊👍✌️
Glad I found this video. My wife and I live in PA and go to NC and TN every year and am looking for a good touring seat. I ride a 2018 street glide with a stock seat now. I have looked at Saddleman road sofa but hear about what you mentioned about getting it wet. Was curious do you need to put cover on if you get caught in rain or is it just for washing/ storage in weather. Curious on your thoughts. Thanks for sharing this. Very informative.
The cover is really more for when you are parked out in the rain. When riding in the rain it may absorb a bit of water but not bad. Definitely don't let it sit in the rain uncovered or soak it when washing. It's a great two up seat. I hope that's helpful. If you have already subscribed...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. All the best and ride safe. ✌️👊👍
So I'm stuck between the road sofa, and the step up touring. The main things I need with a seat are more comfort for long 500+ mile days, a riders backrest is a must, and I also need something that doesn't sit me up as I have a very short inseam. I would also like a larger passenger pillion, but is not a must have. I have really been looking at the road sofa, but I'm afraid it might sit me up too high compared to my stock street glide seat. Any suggestions?
Josh, the Road Sofa will sit you up higher than a stock street glide seat but is very close to the stock ultra seats. For long trips the road sofa would be the way to go and you can get the back rest option on it. I really like the touring step up but your passenger may not like it as well as the Road Sofa. I'm not sure if you can get a driver back rest for the touring step up. My suggestion would be to go to a Harley dealer that allows demos on the Saddlemen seats and give them a try and see how they work for you. I would also suggest contacting Saddlemen directly a talk with one of their customer service reps. They are very helpful. If you are already a subscriber thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. ✌️👊👍
I ride 12hrs to Jersey every year and that's factory seat isn't the way. And I'm 6 ft even. I have a great back rest i need s long haul seat that will with with my back rest and for long rides what do you recommend
Thanks for watching and commenting. I'd definitely recommend the Road Sofa for riding long distance. If you want the backrest, you would need to order the version with a back rest. Saddlemen build the backrest hardware etc into the seat so there is nothing you need bolted onto the bike. I have another video just on the road sofa that I did recently that shows the back rest. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Ride safe and enjoy. ✌️👊👍
That is the Saddlemen Touring Step Up seat with tuck & roll. Thanks for watching and commenting. If you are already a subscriber thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. ✌️👊👍
I've heard of the name & even demo'd a couple of them as well, never really being a fan. You just introduce me to a tuck and roll and I can tell from your reaction that I am gonna need to try it out before making my next seat purchase. Thank you sir
Hey Rick, I have a 2017 RGS and bought a stock Harley seat that made me sit a little lower and had a nice passenger saddle for the wife. The problem is the way it's made "My Boys" are jammed up if you know what I mean. I run the stock seat when I'm riding solo because I like the look. I'm 5'3" and have a 29" inseam. Looking for something that the wife will be comfy,, I can be comfy, and keeps me closer to the ground. I like the idea of the lumbar support area for me. The last one you reviewed I think was the step-up touring tuck and roll Saddlemen seat. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks the DAWG in Columbia, MO. good video...
Hey Barry. Good to see a fellow Missourian in the comments. The Step Up touring tuck and roll is very comfy for the rider and gives nice seating area for a passenger. I would say for long trips may not be the best for a passenger but a few hundred miles a day it should be fine. The Road Sofa is the ultimate touring seat for both passenger and rider however it does sit you up an inch or so higher than a stock street glide seat. I would suggest giving a few a try at the HD dealer in Columbia. I'm not sure if they demo Saddlemen seats or not but Gateway HD in St Louis does. I would think with 29" inseam the Road Sofa would be right on the edge of being able to flat foot the bike. If you had boots with a bit of a heel I would think no problem. I hope that helps. If you are already a subscriber...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Ride safe and enjoy. 👍✌️👊
thanks, Rick,, I'll check with our dealer here in COMO... It used to be called Mid-America HD and it has changed to Black Top HD of Columbia,, new owners...BTW what is the windshield you have on your bike? I have the stock one still on mine which is just blowing wind over my head and the wife is getting slammed.. Need to go with something with the upsweep. I tried Klock works when I was in Sturgis a few years back... didn't care for them...that was in 2019 so things might have changed by then. DAWG from COMO.
The windshields I run are memphisshades. The one on the CVO is the spoiler 4.5. I also have a 6.5 for longer trips. This works great for me. I has getting too much wind with the CVO windsplitter windshield and changed it out quickly. I knew Mid America changed owners but I couldn't remember the new name.
This one is going to cover a lot of seats so hopefully this will help you out. All of the seats discussed in the video are seats that I've personally laid down 1,000s of miles with each of them.
Just bought my first ever Saddleman seat for the Low Rider ST, love the look of it and so far I'm very happy with how comfortable it is. Great review. Be safe. 🤘🤘
Thanks brother for watching. Once I switched to Saddlemen seats there will be no changing or going back to stock. The white sand pearl is an awesome color on the Low Rider ST. I had the opportunity to ride one last summer and it is an awesome bike. Ride safe and enjoy. 👍👊✌️
Have you tried the LS Dual and compared it to the SDC Pro Gripper? I’m trying to get the SDC here in AUS with the red stitching, looks like I can’t get red with the SDC as far as local stock is concerned. I’m wondering if the standard LS Dual will be comfortable enough, it has a gel/foam combo. ✌️
The Road Sofa LS does have the GelCore in both driver and pillion portion. The Road Sofa LS is more comfortable for long days of riding. I do believe the Road Sofa LS is also available in a reach version. Obviously not sure what you can find in stock in Australia. 👊👍
Thanks BamaMike for the question. I actually l Just started running the Dominator Low on the 2023 Street Glide ST. In the video coming out Thursday, I will discuss it a bit. So far I really like it. The low version does set you closer to the tank than the stock ST solo seat but it is a huge improvement over stock. Also much better than the CVO solo seat. If you are over 5'10", I'd definitely recommend the extended reach version of the Dominator. If you are already a subscriber...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for the support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
If you order them set up with the driver backrest, they come with the connection in the seat. I'm not sure if yiu can order them with just the slot for the Harley backrest. That would beva good question for Saddlemen. They may do a custom set up. Thanks for watching. Ride safe. 👍👊🇺🇸
I am 6 feet tall (bulky). I weigh 260lbs riding a 2022 Street Glide Special - 114 I ride it to work and back home (13 mile round trip). I would like to take the bike on long runs, but I slide back on a new "tallboy" solo seat that I purchased at the time of purchasing the bike. What would you suggest.....? My Yahmaha 650 Classic Soft-Tail had a great seat and it is still comfortable. I gave the bike to my son.
I really like the Saddlemen Touring Step Up. It is comfortable but doesn't look big and bulky on the bike. It will hold you in the seat and works great for short trips or long trips. I'm 5'10" and the regular reach is fine for me. At 6' you may want to go to the reach version unless your longer waisted and shorter inseam. I'm about a 33" inseam with my riding boots on. The other great thing about the Touring Step Up is it is less expensive than the Road Sofa. My 2 cents. Thanks for watching and reaching out. If you have subscribed already thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed, I would be honored if you'd consider doing so. Ride safe and enjoy. 👍👊✌️
So when do you know if you need a extended seat? I’m tired of buying seats I hate. I’m 5’ 10” with a 31” inseam. I like where the cvo seat puts me when it comes to bar reach (12”), but the floor boards have my legs crunched up. I have to keep my heal on the floor board and toes on the highway pegs in order to be comfortable. I just purchased a extended reach saddle man dominator and I’m afraid I made a mistake😬
I'm also 5'10 with 31 inseam. My seats are all standard reach except the SDC. The SDC only comes in the reach version. But with the back rest on it, the reach is shortened up a bit. Many Harley dealers that carry saddlemen seats will let you test them on your bike to get a feel for the fit. I would day on the touring step up, I'm right on the edge between the standard and extended reach. However, I prefer to be a bit closer to the bars as I do a lot of slow speed and tight maneuver riding. I hope that helps. If you are a subscriber...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed, I would be honored if you'd consider doing so. Ride safe and enjoy. 👊✌️👍
I have two Saddlemen Seats, a Road Sofa with a back rest for long hauls and a step-up seat for local stuff because it just looks better. Both seats are a big improvement over stock you just don't feel every bump in the road in your butt anymore. The stock seat on my Road Glide Special sucked as do most stock HD seats. I agree 100% with what you said about rain/water the Saddlemen seats come with rain covers you need to use them, my Road Sofa got wet on trip when I was too lazy to stop and put it on and it took a long time for it to dry out. The thing about Saddlemen seats the longer you have it the better it feels, they do take some breaking in.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I agree the SDC is an incredible looking seat and it is comfortable as well. Not the ultimate in comfort like the Step Up or Road Sofa but pretty darn good. If you areca subscriber already thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed, I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👍👊🇺🇸

@trickortreat5.0treat54 Thanks for watching, commenting, and subscribing. I look forward to seeing your comments on other and future videos. Ride safe and enjoy. ✌️👊👍
The step up seat will set you up just a bit more than the stock CVO seat but is more narrow toward the tank allowing you to get your legs closer into the bike when stopped. If you are 6' tall, I would suggest getting the reach version to set you back a bit more. I have the standard version and at 5'10" I'm on the boarder between standard and reach. Thanks for watching. If you have subscribed already...thank you. If you haven't yet done so, I would be honored if you'd consider doing so. 👍👊✌️
@@HDVIBE thank you for the response, I’m only 5’ 8” and its for my 2019 softail low rider, I bought the harley sundowner and although I think the rider seat is awesome the passenger seat is just too ugly and being I never ride with a passenger not too concerned about that part not being comfortable but I need something to support luggage. I really like the look of the SDC but afraid of comfort, I ride a lot of miles with many 300,400,500 mile rides. Watching your video caught my eye when you said the step up touring was super comfortable.
Gotta say, my CVO solo seat on my Street Glide Special has treated me well on all of our long trips. Having said that, I am looking for a two-up because at some point I’ll have a tour pack and tour pack bag, meaning that I’ll need a two-up to rest the bag on. Great vid mate. ✌️
Thanks Roger for watching and commenting. I tried the CVO seat for a bit and felt Ike I was sitting on the bolts. Perhaps I've been spoiled with the Saddlemen seats. Ride safe and enjoy the ride. 👊👍
I love saddlemen seats but found they are about 1in taller than stock. I am vertically challenged and wish saddlemen made a tad lower seat... I have the road sofa and the SDC and had the slim. I didn't find any of them to be lower or allowed me to fully plant my feet vs stock... that said, they are way more comfortable than stock
Thanks for watching and for your perspective on the seats. I find the SDC and slim set me the lowest of the Saddlemen seats I have. The Road Sofa seems to set me up the highest of the 4 seats. Ride safe and enjoy. 👍👊✌️
Thanks for watching and commenting. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
Thanks, Erwin, for watching and commenting. If you went road sofa route, you definitely want to go the extended reach version. I'm not familiar with the HD Tall Boy seat but, I'm sure it is made at the same quality level as the stock seats....foam that will breakdown over time and a seat pan that is flimsy plastic. I'd suggest finding a dealer near you that allows you to demo the Saddlemen seats so you can ride with one to get an on bike experience. The Saddlemen seat will definitely be firmer than any HD seat. For me, a firmer seat works better... If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
I have a 21 Street Glide Special. I bought a low profile Mustang Seat but returned it because it left a pretty sizable gap between the seat and the tank dash console. Have you had any issues with this gap on the Saddleman seats on your 21 Road glide Special?
Paul, no gap at all between the seat and tank with any of the Saddlemen seats on any of the bikes I've used them on. Thanks for watching and ride safe. 👊👍🇺🇸
Step up seat looks great but with me is uncomfortable. I don’t know why my tall is 6 feet and weight 120 kg now I put around 200 miles on it and waiting for break in maybe will be changed to comfortable i don’t know. Also the backrest is not supported my back probably.
Thanks for watching and commenting with your experience. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. ✌️👍👊
Argh, I hate the SDC on my bagger and love it on my Low Rider ST. The touring version sits me up too high like I’m straddling a fence but the Softail version fits like a glove (for your butt) on my ST.maybe the mid controls on ST make it better for me, I dunno but I’m hunting for a different bagger seat.they are good looking seats though and firm as hell.
Thanks for watching and sharing your experience. You may want to look at the Touring Step Up. I now run it on my 2021 Road Glide Special. In my opinion one of the most comfortable touring seats without sacrificing a good look. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
Bought a LS Road Sofa for my Street Glide just over a year ago, its the worst seat I have ever sat on. After 1 hour my ass gets sore and it seems that there is little foam or gel in the seat, extremely disappointed in this seat as I have ran Mustang Seats and La Pera seats before which are far more comfortable, even the stock seat is more comfortable.
Seats are certainly very personal preference. I found the stock seat to be fine until it started breaking down and then I had tailbone pain. Switched over to Saddlemen seats and no more tailbone pain. Thanks for watching and ride safe. 👊👍✌️
Thanks David for the question. The touring step up from a passengers perspective is good. It certainly will not be as comfortable for the passenger as would the road sofa as the sesting area is narrower on the touring step up. My summation would be this...for the passenger the touring step up is good for a day's riding. If you were to be hitting the road for several days or weeks of riding...I'd suggest the Road Sofa.
I have a saddleman SDC with the backrest. Honestly, the backrest hurts more than it helps. It hits my lower back right where my belt is, and it's actually painful on longer rides. I have now done two tours on the SDC, with yesterday being the longest ride in one shot (only gas stops) which was 1294 miles (Austin to SoCal). My ass hurts like a bitch, but I was still able to do it. The seat looks good, but for LONG touring, don't go with the SDC lol. Also, save yourself some money and don't get the backrest IMO.
Thanks for watching and commenting. The SDC is definitely not a long distance seat as I mentioned. The touring step up or the road sofa are the way to go when laying down the big miles. If you are already a subscriber thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👍✌️👊
Really nice review. I was always curious about Saddleman and Lapera seats seems like might be good choice. As you probably know I am Corbin fan myself but some say it is not for them so it is really personal preference. Seats you presented were really sharp looking for sure. Great job!
Love my Corbin. Had them on all my sport bikes and now my first Harley. I do love the look of the road sofa. Maybe if mine ever wears out I’ll give it a try.
Thanks for sharing your experience with Corbin seats. I have heard nothing but Good things about them. I personally have never tried one but have been very pleased with my Saddlemen seats. If you are already a subscriber...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for the support and ride safe. 👊👍✌️
Man....there are as many seat options as there are bikes!!...we're ok with the stock seat for now...especially since we upgraded the suspension....but at some point will be looking into seats!...thanks for the info!...great video...stay safe...and warm!!😎🤙👍🤙👍🇨🇦
Thanks for watching and commenting. I found my stock seat served me well until I hit 20,000 miles or so then the foam began to breakdown and I started getting tailbone pain every time I road. Ride safe and enjoy the ride. 👊👍
As I was solo watching this one - I found it so enlightening that you also considered the pillion perspective for the seats. As I am the Kazo part of KazoMoto rather than the moto (ha ha ha - ie: the Pillion not the rider) I worry about comfort and longevity for me on the bike. thank you for sharing. (from half of KazoMoto)

Thanks Bob for watching and commenting. As the thumbnail states...Saddlemen or Harkey....which is best? I believe the video covers the comparison of the two seat brands. For people who say oh just ride the STOCK seat with a backrest.. no. Lol I have a stock seat with a nice adjustable backrest for my 21' street glide special and after 600 miles on this bike in 2 weekends I'm like this stock seat has to go!!! I don't even care about the back rest. My ASS hurts LMAO

Everyone I know that has ever had a saddleman seat has sold theirs because they were too hard. Even after their break-in period. One guys seat got passed through four different guys. Boner of them liked it. So that's multiple guys opinions
Thanks for your perspective. They definitely aren't for everyone and I always express in the videos they are firm resulting from the GelCore technology. Thanks for watching and ride safe. 👊👍🇺🇸

These fit on a Road King?
@@edwardedling216 Yes. Every seat I’ve owned would fit on a Road King. The seats on Road Glides, Street Glides, Limiteds all fit on Road Kings too. I owned a Road King before any of the other mentioned bikes.
@edwardedling216 These seats will fit on any of the touring models...so they will fit on a Road King as long as it is a 2008 or newer model.

After years of riding on Mustang seats, I’m becoming a big fan of Saddlemen seats. I plan to make the SDC Pro my fulltime seat. Take care.
The Saddlemen SDC is a great seat. I have mine on the Road Glide Special at the moment. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe and enjoy. 👊✌️👍
Just got the SDC - too hard - sit higher where I was now over my windshield- back rest was uncomfortable- extended reach was too far back - it’s boxed up and being returned- 3 days later and tailbone is still feeling it. Everyone is different might try lucky Dave’s

After 3k miles so far, I’m definitely a fan of my La Pera Maverick - it’s slightly wider between the legs than my factory 2019 Road King Special factory seat, but the high backrest and firmer padding (which is breaking in fantastically) has been worth every penny.

I am looking in to getting a Saddleman Road sofa for myself and the wife. Another good review Rick!👊🇺🇸
I think your wife will appreciate the Road Sofa. Much better than the stock RGS seat without question. Thanks for watching and ride safe. 👊👍🇺🇸
I’m looking forward to this one. I can’t make up my mind in a seat to save my life.
What are your thoughts on the Saddlemen Dominator Seat?
Thanks BamaMike for the question. I actually l
Just started running the Dominator Low on the 2023 Street Glide ST. 👊✌️👍
nice review! I would definitely go with the Ls...do you know if you can use the stock Harley Backrest?
If you order them set up with the driver backrest, they come with the connection in the seat. I'm not sure if yiu can order them with just the slot for the Harley backrest. That would beva good question for Saddlemen. They may do a custom set up. Thanks for watching. Ride safe. 👍👊🇺🇸

I am 6 feet tall (bulky). I weigh 260lbs riding a 2022 Street Glide Special - 114
I ride it to work and back home (13 mile round trip).

Thanks Eric. I appreciate your comment. Ride safe and enjoy the ride. 👊👍🇺🇸
Thanks for your very thoughtful comment. I agree with your thoughts 100%. Thanks for watching and ride safe. 👍👊🇺🇸

In your opinion where does the steep up touring seat put you on the bike, meaning does it move you up or back any? Or any higher or lower? Thank you
The step up seat will set you up just a bit more than the stock CVO seat but is more narrow toward the tank allowing you to get your legs closer into the bike when stopped. If you are 6' tall, I would suggest getting the reach version to set you back a bit more. I have the standard version and at 5'10" I'm on the boarder between standard and reach. Thanks for watching.

I need something as comfortable as my stock Road Glide Ultra seat but lets me sit back about 2". Road Sofa? Or HD Tall Boy?
Thanks, Erwin, for watching and commenting. If you went road sofa route, you definitely want to go the extended reach version. I'm not familiar with the HD Tall Boy seat but, I'm sure it is made at the same quality level as the stock seats....foam that will breakdown over time and a seat pan that is flimsy plastic. I'd suggest finding a dealer near you that allows you to demo the Saddlemen seats so you can ride with one to get an on bike experience. The Saddlemen seat will definitely be firmer than any HD seat.
Can anybody give some feedback on how the touring step-up seat is for passengers... Compared to the stock HD seat
The touring step up would be a huge improvement over the stop Street Glide or CVO Street Glide Seat without question for the passenger.
Does the RP push you back as far as the SDC?
It does not but I think you can get it in a reach version as well. The SDC only comes in the reach configuration. 👊👍
Good seats!
Thanks for watching and commenting. Much appreciated. Ride safe. 👊👍🇺🇸
Will this fit on 2004 roadking
My suggestion is to check saddlemen's website for fitment specific for your bike.

Thanks for joining and I appreciate the thoughtful comment. I appreciate yiu joining the premiere. Yiu guys be safe out on the road. 👊👍

I want to see saddleman vs drag vs la pera vs lucky daves
That would would be a great comparison. Unfortunately, I have no experience with those other seats. If you have any connections that could provide those seats to do a comparison, please pass it along. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
Love my Mustang two-piece touring seat.
Thanks for watching. I've heard a lot of good things about Mustang seats as well. Ride safe and enjoy.👊👍
I think that was a 10k in motorcycle seats. ;)- Great video brother.
Not quite but a bit of an investment. Always good to have options. Thanks for watching and ride safe. 👊👍🇺🇸
Happy Thanksgiving
Thanks Larry. Same to you and family. 👊👍🇺🇸
If I got free seats and sponsored I would read from the script too 😂. The opinions all sound they same just like a news feed.
Thanks Ricky for watching and commenting. I actually purchased 2 of the 4 Saddlemen seats prior to any sponsorship. All opinions and information in the video is my own after having ridden on the Saddlemen and Harley seats for thousands of miles. If you are already a subscriber...thank you. Go with the step up or the road sofa, both much better than the explorer, all saddlemen, HD seats? Suck!

I guess he's pretty sold on Saddleman seats. No others were tested.
Thanks Bob for watching and commenting. As the thumbnail states...Saddlemen or Harkey....which is best? I believe the video covers the comparison of the two seat brands. There are certainly others in the market, but, I do not have experience with others to properly compare. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
Thanks for watching and commenting. I agree with your perspective. Stock seats suck. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. ✌️👊👍
My sentiments exactly. I've got 35K miles on the stock RGU seat. The backrest is a must but I've got to upgrade this seat ASAP!

I found the Harley seat I put on my SGS the best but….
Flip it over and it’s cheaply stapled.
After market made much better.
Harley…. For the cost at least use rivets…

The correct answer is Mustang.
